The food was full of flavour - thoroughly recommend the risotto; the service was efficient and friendly, the wine and beer - do try the 4 punto beer - helped to make the dinner first class

We visited on New Years Eve and the experience was, as usual, wonderful. Lovely food, lovely warm atmosphere, lovely staff. Always welcoming, consistenly delicious food.

The Aubergine based special was over cooked and needed a side salad or bread as it was very rich flavored. Atmosphere and service was good but generally felt the menu was overpriced for the portion size and quality of food.

Excellent food and service. We were there with two small children and they accomodated us brilliantly. All food delivered to time and very impressed with this restaurant.

My girlfriend and I had a very pleasant meal for her birthday on Friday. The food was tasty and the service was friendly - on the pricey side, but not hugely, so I would definitely go back for a treat.

We are not so keen on the newish menu offered by Barbaracca after its rebirth from the former La Luna. Part of the problem is the very Italian menu card - we should have asked for more info on what the items were, as we ordered a starter of what turned out to be a selection of tempura-coated things, with the emphasis on the batter. Much too fatty for a starter. My sea bass was utterly delicious, I have to say and the pear sorbet as heavenly as ever. My companion's salmon salad was very ordinary, however, just salad and salmon, not what you expect for a bill of over £100 for three. Sorry to have to say this, as the staff are as efficient and charming as ever and the attempt to offer real Sicilian food praiseworthy, but it didn't quite work this time for us.

We often come here as locals. It's good, honest thoughtful cooking. Service and prices are just as they should be. Sourcing is quality. Don't be afraid to ask for wine advice. You'll be glad you did.

Best meal out we've had in ages! The service was professional and attentive without being over the top. Food delicious and a reasonably priced. 3 courses with a good wine and coffees under £100. We were happy to give a big tip. Would definately go again and recommend to friends and family.

A rather informal setting with good ambience and excellent food which combines traditional Sicilian dishes with local flavours and produce. The wine list is extensive with wines being sourced across Italy. I would highly recommend.

Oddly the Quandoo system cancelled our reservation but we rang the restaurant and they reserved us a table with no issues. Highly recommend the restaurant. One of our firm favourites in Godalming Guildford area and has been for many years.

We went on a Saturday night and had such a lovely experience: great staff and delicious food (had rib eye steak and the mussel casserole). The place has a nice vibe, easy going with a good buzz. Definitely going back.

This is a very friendly restaurant with a very accessible menu. The food is of good quality and the wine list is acceptable. This restaurant used to be much 'posher' but is now very informal.

This is a great informal Restaurant with all the genuine Italian charm and friendliness you would take for granted in Italy. The food is terrific home cooking with an eclectic and interesting selection of Wines.

Fantastic pasta and calamari for lunch - Barbaracca is a great place to go to eat in Godalming. Highly recommended, good value, would definitely go again, perhaps for dinner next time.

Fantastic food, superb wine list, very reasonably priced, relaxed atmosphere, best place to eat in Godalming. My 9 year old loves the kids menu too!!

A very friendly place with wonderful food, that's all tone needs to know. But add to this the lovely atmosphere, even early in the evening, attentive staff and the willingness to share recipes, and you really can't go wrong. I took my family there for supper and we had a wonderful evening.

I thought it was good value for money, very friendly service and the sea bass that two of us had was delicious , my other friend thought the pasta was stodgy and that she hadn't chosen well.

Very good experience. The staff were very welcoming. The restaurant has a homely atmosphere. Potato and spinach croquettes to start, very nice but the dipping sauce was a little bland to my palette. Lamb for main, pink as advertised, delicious accompaniments. Tiramisu for dessert, excellent. Overall, a great evening, looking forward to our next visit.

Great atmosphere! Great food! We had sharing platters then penne bolognaise. A lovely rosé wine too..we'll be back very soon, thanks to all the staff who looked after us.

Great Italian food with many sicilian dishes with both an informal and formal menu choice. Nice wine selection. Super, personal service. Relaxed buzzy atmosphere. 100% sure we will go again. For our main course we chose pink rump of South Down Lamb, rosemary jus, breaded peppers (room temperature), hand cut chips which was served exactly as described - perfectly cooked.

The food and service was very good. However when I checked my bill at home I noticed that I had been charged £13.50 instead of £10.50.

Excellent service, beautiful food and cheaper than we thought it would be. Will definitely be back. The staff are very friendly and there are plenty of vegetarian options, which makes a change.

One of the best restaurant in this part of Surrey. Really delicious home made Italtan cuisine . Great atmosphere , they love kids too. Highly recommend

The staff were so friendly and attentive. The small menu had an abundance of delicious authentic options. Great atmosphere with quirky touches like a map of Sicily and wine crates decorating pillars. Will definitely go for a return visit.

Friendly service but lasagne was dry and over cooked and we felt the menu was limited. We preferred the restaurant menu before it changed from La Luna.

Simplicity with quality throughout the menu. Staff excellent and add to the authentic atmosphere. Wine very decent, again. Much more family friendly too since the rebrand.

It was very nice and had fantastic starter and main course, both utterly fantastic. Service was impeccable as always. Highly recommend and is a popular restaurant so reservation is strongly recommended.
