Fantastic food, very friendly and attentive staff would definitely recommend and we will be back. Good selection of food and drinks and we were all happy with what we ordered.

Great food, wine, service and atmosphere. I had the mozzarella starter (a special), the lamb for my main and the chocolate cheesecake for desert, sharing a bottle of voignier. All were excellent.

Great atmosphere, food and very friendly staff. Not a huge menu but plenty of choice. Always a good experience, the pasta is amazing especially the lamb ragu.

We had a great meal everybody at our table agreed to return, food was excellent and staff friendly and accommodating. It wasn't crowded but i expect all the chain restaurants give discounts, if that is the case they are missing splendid food.

Excellent food and very pleasant staff. The main course was particularly good ie bream and steak. Maybe could do with having a few more wines in the £20-25 region as only saw one. I will definitely revisit though :) Thanks

The food is overpriced. My fish was dry and portions are small. I would like to see more variety on the menu. I paid 17.50 for s small piece of fish. Few roast potatoes and sundried tomatoes. My boyfriends dad can put a better dinner than that by a long way. Come on. Improve

Fabulous food, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere made this a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience This is definitely our restaurant of choice in Godalming and we would heartily recommend it.

I still feel pangs about the switch of format from La Luna which was very special. This new Barbaracca style is very much in the modern mode but doesn't quite make it. The food is still good and the staff warm and friendly but the pricing seems uncomfortably trapped between the upmarket cost of La Luna and the midmarket pricing of the new and threatening arrival of Cote round the corner. A re-think is probably needed.

Family friendly with good children's menu. Not sure the burrata was as good as last time -had it twice before but this was more like ordinary mozzarella... The menu probably could do with being changed or a few 'specials added (if there were any no-one mentioned this). However made to feel welcome and the atmosphere is good so will no doubt return

A welcoming place with lots of buzz. Very good cooking and some interesting, unusual choices on the menu. Sensible prices and good selection of wine. I'd recommend and will go again.

The service was very good and fast, with staff providing recommendations. The food was well portioned and cooked, tasting very nice with Sicilian red wine complimenting the food nicely. Would recommend!

We've tried to eat at Barbaraca many times, and they've always been fully booked. Tonight we tried again on the off chance and we were lucky to get a table at the time we requested. Wow!! What a gem of a place. The service was outstanding. The staff are super friendly to everyone and what was a really nice touch was they gave you a choice of several tables in different locations to pick from, so you can have the view or setting that you wish. The food was beyond amazing..it was delicious and cooked to perfection. Our daughter started to feel unwell and without hesitation they boxed up her food so we could take it home. The only issue we have is, when can we get another booking so we can eat more of this delicious food!

Barbaracca never disappoints. The food is always excellent - interesting Sicilian menu, wonderful flavours, good quality ingredients, cooked to perfection, friendly staff who are attentive but not over-bearing as in some restaurants.

Very good service and the food was amazing! The atmosphere was just right. My friend and I were running the Surrey Half Marathon the next day and had the lasagna - which just hit the spot! :-)

We hadnt been to this restuarant since it changed from La Luna (which I liked, but my partner didnt) We thought the 'new' restuarant was great, it has Lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff and good food (Loved the courgette starter). My partner thought it was so much better than La Luna, I think we will be going back when we are in Godalming again.

The staff were very friendly and they were helpful. The food was delicious and our left over pasta we were able to bring it home.

The food was very good, Calamari Fritti, excellent steak, great tiramisu, good wine and very friendly staff. Atmosphere was friendly and vibrant. Looking forward to next time.

Really friendly staff and great food. We will definitely come back here again for authentic Italian food. Only reason for giving 5 rather than 6 is that pizza was not on the Saturday night menu.

Loved it. Would definitely go again. Steak was melt in your mouth. Lovely little place so didn't feel crowded. Was lovely little touches like the chef walking past and asking if everything was all ok.

Just love the attentive and great service here. Fantastic duck dish on valentines evening and wonderfully knowledgable about Italian wines . Well worth a visit .

Eat here regularly, with and without kids, lunch and dinner. Fabulous, Sicilian food, lovely wine, super waiters and atmosphere. We are very lucky to have this place in Godalming.

We decided to visit for a special birthday treat with friends. We always experience great food and service at Barbaracca - we'll be booking again soon!

Very welcoming and friendly ambiance, staff were very helpful and attentive without being intrusive. Varied menu including vegetarian options, salads, pasta and other main dishes. Starters and main courses to share or individual portions and a good choice of dessert. Disappointed in the food but maybe our choice: starter of calamari was delicious but the sauce to accompany the tempura courgette and spinach & potato croquettes was a very watery, flavourless tomato sauce - all in need of more seasoning and depth of flavour. Perhaps some cheese in the croquettes? Main course salad was delicious but accompanied by very hard, ring-shaped, tasteless breadsticks. Sharing pasta with venison ragu was very boring and rather dry, mixed salad had seen better days. Choc ice-cream and pannacotta with fruit were all delicious. Mid-range prices for below average food, such a shame.

Absolutely superb meal. The food was delicious and fairly priced sand the staff were perfectly attentive. Extremely authentic food and atmosphere. The best chips I've had in the UK (don't judge, had actual Sicilian food as well!). 10/10 would 100% recommend to singles, dates, couples and families.

Great local family friendly restaurant. Lovely italian food and good service. Have been here several times and never been disappointed. A variety of meat and fish and pasta dishes. No pizzas except on Wednesday nights.
