Staff very friendly. Excellent service and atmosphere. Went as a party of four and all our dishes were delicious. We will definitely return again.

Food was nice. Although asked if we enjoyed our meal and had service it felt rushed and impersonal. Should never have to ask for Parmesan in an Italian restaurant.

Another visit to Bar Leo. Service, ambiance and food all excellent. We had to change our time late in the day, and this was no problem. We were given a later slot for our meal. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. The service was not too fast, nor was it too slow, it was just right for a nice evening with good company and excellent food and wine.

My first visit here and, most probably, my last. Although the service was very good I was really disappointed with the food. My pizza wasn’t great. I chose the Quattro Stagioni. The pizza lacked flavour toppings didn’t really taste of anything (apart from the olives which were overly salty) and some of the pieces mozzarella on around half of my pizza hadn’t melted and so we’re still in chunks. My dessert of tiramisu wasn’t very nice either. Despite the fact it was presented nicely, it was very watery at the bottom of the glass and didn’t have much taste (other than cream). My partner had the seafood risotto, which he said was nice, followed by ice cream. Not much to say there really. We did have to return the glass for his drink though as it still had lipstick on it. Disappointing!!!

Always a super-friendly visit. Extensive menu, good speed of service and attentiveness. Great for a relaxing night at a dependable restaurant in Linlithgow.

Food was great! Service and staff very nice and attentive! Was unhappy at the end of the visit as we had just paid the bill but after only being in the restaurant for 45 minutes we were then asked to leave as they needed the table. Pretty much like we paid the bill and that’s it and there were a lot of tables empty... other than that a great dinner!

I would usually rate this restaurant higher. Haggis bon bons were amazing my Pollo Diana and my husbands Steak were also amazing. My daughter had lasagne which mostly contained bechamel sauce she struggled to find any meat in it which in my opinion was no where near the £9.95 it cost!! But the main reason I marked my rating down was I was driving so did not have any alcohol, I dont drink juice so asked for water which I always have with a meal. I was charged £1 for the one piece of ice they put in it... absolutely no need for that . I know £1 is not alot but it was the principal of it..!!!

Ive never been before and wasn’t sure what to expect as it was quite easy to get a table for a Friday night. But the food was nothing short of excellent. I had the beef medallions with mushroom risotto.. WOW

Nice food. Staff are friendly but do need more of them . My friend had to ask for our candle to be lit and we had to top up our own wine glasses which you shouldn’t really need to do in a restaurant. Wouldn't out me off going back again though.

We called in on Sunday evening arriving an hour early at 7.00pm before our booking at 8.00. We were made welcome and given immediate attention. service was good with a good atmosphere, there were two birthday parties in and they appeared to have a good time too. The staff were very efficient and friendly. A good night thanks.

been here numerous times for their steak meal, although the last twice we've been the steaks are very raw. my advice would be to order a grade higher than you normally order, ie med/well instead of medium. I wont be back. £100 a time.

Rather spoiled by three different birthday parties during our meal when very loud “happy birthday” music drowned conversation. One was novelty. There was ridiculous.
