Such a lovely evening celebrating my husbands birthday. We had a full table of adults and young children and the team at Bar Leo looked after all of us. We come here often and the consistency of service and quality of food is amazing. The other people with us had not been before and they loved it too. Never disappoints.

We had their Valentine's Special Dinner yesterday and it very very good. Best chicken dish for years, best lamb dish for years and best tiramisu since Bologna 16 years ago. The starters were fine but they weren't very sexy. Service was excellent. The restaurant was warm, cosy and comfy. The music was a bit too loud for us and not very romantic. Overall it was a most enjoyable experience and the 3 course meal for £29.95 was excellent value. Adding an automatic 10% Service Charge to the bill is not good practice although on this occasion our optional tip would've been at least the equivalent of 10%.

Our waiters were very attentive, friendly and professional. I missed the traditional Italian music that is normally played, instead we had modern pop music, but either way there was still an atmosphere which was great. food and drinks were lovely. Barleo has been a favourite for years and did not disappoint.

Food and service as always were exceptional. The daily special, Tagliata which is one of the usual daily specials is awesome. It may appear pricey but once tried is worth every penny and is almost always the main course choice in Bar Leo

Food was fantastic. It was a Wednesday night and the restaurant wasn’t too busy so lacked a bit of atmosphere. There was a couple of birthdays with cakes and singing which helped. Our seats were below an air cent so felt cold. All in all a decent experience…
