Good selection on menu. Food was very good and the service was too. Ribs starter stood out for me. Pleasant atmosphere and fairly busy for a Wednesday night.

The food here is always fresh and full of flavour. The staff friendly and helpful, the happily accommodated my needs as I am unable to manage stairs so they ensured my table was easily accessible. Great Night

It was easy to book tgrough Quandoo . Delicious fresh food, served swiftly by friendly staff. Ovetall a very pleasant experience and will definitely be returning.

Great food, very good service, as always - spoilt in part by a very large family party with a 'nursery full' of noisy children and loud parents bellowing at each other on the next table. Toddlers and young children running up and down shouting at each other at 22.30 is not a great environment for a quiet night out.

Fabulous food. Efficient, friendly service and pleasant atmosphere. I have visited Bistro Saigon several time now and it never disappoints. There is a fantastic menu and a good, varied wine list. Highly recommended.

Authentic Vietnamese cuisine served in stylish surroundings by amiable staff. Overall an experience we would be happy to repeat when next in Ilkley. Well done .

Lovely meal as usual. Had prawn and noodle starter - really fresh and clean flavours, followed by seabass ... very tasty. Good sized portions. Efficient and friendly staff.

A most enjoyable evening. The food was delicious and there was plenty of choice. We espied the homemade desert menu so made sure we had room left to try one, and can say it was worth leaving space for. The staff are lovely and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. There was a nice buzz about the restaurant and we look forward to going again.

As always, food excellent. However, last night we felt the service was not up to scratch. We were asked twice about ordering pre-dinner drinks, three waitresses attended the table at different times, we were left to our own devices after finishing our main course and when, after a considerable time, our sweet order had not been taken we had to catch a waitress to ask this to be done. This will not, though, stop us from returning!!

Amazing food and lovely staff. Really authentic Vietnamese flavours! Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Wasn't too spicy and it's great that everything was marked whether it was dairy and gluten free or not. Just brilliant

Wonderful food. Great, friendly service and good atmosphere. Busy for a Thursday evening, which speaks volumes. We had a lovely evening and will definitely go back.

This was our first visit to this restaurant - the food was really good and the service was very good too - overall we were very impressed and would definitely return and recommend to others.

A warm welcome followed by excellent food served by friendly staff. It was our first time but defiantly won't be our last, we will be going again very soon.

The food is great and the Service was lovely and friendly as allways from bistro Saigon.Very highly recommended restaurant. Cannot fault the team in anyway.

Would have received 6 if it hadn't been so noisy in their 'cellar' room. Excellent very tasty food and very good service. Have eaten there a few times in the past and I am sure we will again.

Came here with my wife, our first impressions were good, the decor is modern and bright, and the ambiance seemed good too. We had the mixed starter platter which was excellent and good value too, for the mains we had the sea bass and the chili beef, both were very good, although one slight minus point was the mango that came with the sea bass was sparing and unripe, that aside we both enjoyed our meals very much, we would certainly visit again.

Brilliant we when to Vietnam last year on holiday it took us right back there. Staff food excellent will be coming back even though we live in Cheshire 👍

Great food. Very friendly staff if slightly disorganised. We will definitely go again, I can see why this is an Ilkley hotspot and very difficult to get at table.

Fabulous food......really got the far eastern flavours brilliantly. Lovely friendly staff and a great eating experience. Buzzy atmosphere too. The spring rolls Vietnamese style are so delicious.

Excellent dinner as always! I love this place, it never fails to disappoint! The staff are friendly, the food is excellent & fresh and the the location is great right in the centre of ilkley. Not too expensive either. Just great.

We were sat on the main floor by the window which was a very nice table. Lots of teenage staff and three of them were attentive and worked hard. The only thing that let the place down was the food. It was mediocre and so we won't be returning.

An excellent evening. Busy and lively atmosphere, but service always good. Two of us thought the Pho was a real treat. Good value for very good quality food. Wine was excellent and good value. Definitely recommend.

Excellent food. We have always enjoyed great food at Bistro Saigon, from the starters, soups and mains. We particularly like the lemongrass chicken and the chilli beef.

We were greeted as we entered the door and shown immediately to our table. We were advised on the beers available and left to make our choices from an excellent menu. When our order was taken we were going to order a veg dish but were advised that there would be veg with the main courses so it would not be necessary. The food was excellent. We had a choice of 5 starters which were to die for. We had crispy mango chicken and mango sea bass and all was full of flavour and plentiful. Would recommend to anyone as excellent service and food.

Small restaurant so advisable to book well in advance although we were lucky to get a table for 2 at short notice on this occasion.Eaten here twice now - excellent food and service would highly recommend it. Only negative is they could do with more toilets.

Excellent food as always. Only slightly spoilt by poor service late on (we had a late booking and were not offered desert), although to be honest we were pretty full and didn't need desert !

The food was so fresh. And the service was excellent as always. I highly recommend this little gem. In particular the beef and papaya salad to start followed by the sea bass for main. Awesome!

Fabulous food. A great selection of both vegetarian and none vegetarian dishes, all with lots of flavour. We were well attended to by lovely staff and intend to return soon.

We had been trying to get to Saigon for a while due to its good recommendations so had high hopes. We booked into Saigon for 6pm. We arrived about 10 minutes earlier but received a very poor welcome. We were flatly told they weren't open yet. The staff didn't ask if we would mind coming back or offer a drink at the bar while they finished the setup. It was very awkward as we had to backtrack out of the restaurant to find a drink elsewhere. Once we did get seated the starters and main course were very good. The staff were attentive. Unfortunately the Vietnamese coffee was a let down. On the whole the first impression of the restaurant really impacted on our overall experience. I won't be rushing back.

Yet another great meal at Saigon. Never let me down yet. There is a lot of competition in Ilkley with many good restaurants but I never really get to try them as I always opt for Saigon where the quality of the food can always be relied on . Lynn

We went on Valentine's Day and had the special offer of a 3 course meal and a bottle of Prosecco. Food as per usual was excellent and the team are really friendly. As it was a busy night, the service was much too slow which is very unlike the restaurant as we have had top service there on many previous occasions

Have visited Bistro Saigon on three occasion's and tried something different each time , can't fault it. Great food, nice atmosphere looking forward to my next visit.

Excellent food. The hush across the room as everyone stopped eating to look at the Chocolate Sphere dessert was worth going for on its own. Service attentive but not over bearing. We'll definitely be going back.

It was easy to book. The Restaurant & qua do both confirmed the booking. We had a convenient table. I was sent flowers to the restaurant & these were on the table when I arrived. The atmosphere & food were great & we had a smashing evening.
