The staff were all very friendly & helpful. They accommodated our requirements for food, and provided entertainment for the children unprompted… altogether a lovely lunchtime, helped by the sunshine ☀️

Celebrating Mother's Day early with my mam and duster. Fabulous good. I had the lamb which so tender and succulent. My mam had fish of the day, which was hake and my sister had the haddock and chips. Service was great too and staff very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend eating here.

Lovely family visit to The Blackbird for Sunday lunch. We had a table for 8 upstairs in the restaurant. Lovely setting, delicious food and staff were excellent. Can’t wait to go again.

As ever, very high quality food and fabulous recipes that are a delicious twist on classics. Pork belly loaded fries was particularly impressive! And waitress Georgia was a delight - wishing her all the best with her university studies 😊

Lunch on Sunday with my adult daughter & 9o y. Grandson. Initially worried about portion sizes when ordering a child’s meal- he had 3 courses & the portion sizes were large! We all thoroughly enjoyed our food. Roast meats all round. No wait for our table- bar staff even reminded us to confirm our number plate for parking. Not cheap but great food and great value for money! Desiring staff were knowledgeable and attentive. We’ll be back!

A wonderful lunch with attentive service was topped off with a warm and welcoming interior, as usual at The Blackbird, on such a cool day. We couldn't fault any part of our meal and will return again as we so enjoy dining here.

Absolutely stunning food, wonderful atmosphere. Very lovely waiting staff. Only downside was the wait times for the food was quite long, but when you see the level of detail and finesse that the dishes come out with it is definitely worth it

Everything was spot on but then we have all been before! The food was well presented and the service very good.

Great all food was amazing service good . However it was a 50th birthday special family meal and this wasn’t even acknowledged by anyone even though I’d put in a request message it won’t stop us return food was delicious.

It's a great pub for Sunday lunch. We met as a family and really enjoyed the afternoon . Food was good as always and staff were very attentive. At no point did we feel rushed and stayed for 2.5 hours. The pub was packed so make sure you book - you won't be disappointed

Booked Saturday morning. Our table was ready and were promptly taken to it. Food ordered and it was beautifully presented and cooked and tasted to perfection. Waitress was polite and charming, going back again soon

Always good food at the Blackbird, but the noise from the bar was very loud, as we were sat near the restaurant entrance. Our waitress was lovely

It was so noisy in the restaurant we could not converse during the meal. Totally spoilt the experience. Had l known how noisy it would be we would have enjoyed a takeaway at home much more
