Excellent food, first class service. Lovely atmosphere. Good menu choice. Very helpful and friendly staff. Would recommendations Blackstick's to anyone who loves tapas and steaks.

Although Blacksticks is one of my favourite restaurants it had been a while since I dined there so for our anniversary we booked a table for 2. Upon arrival we noticed the change in layout but it looked fresher and more rustic. We were a little put off by the poor choice of dress by some customers i.e. bubble jacket, shorts and trainers on a cold February night and the volume of noise from some diners. Fortunately, they soon left as the early bird menu had finished. The menu has changed to a Spanish type menu and we were a little put-off but decided to stay. To be honest, the food and service were absolutely fantastic and the staff so chatty. We ended up having a lovely meal. Definitely go back, but not as overdressed as we were that night.

We had a tapas banquet, (we chose lots of tapas rather than individual entrées)... a great way of sampling their fab food and also introducing people to foods their palates may not have tasted before. Rather noisy but it was a Saturday night with birthday celebrations going on around us so one has to be reasonable.

Excellent food, great ambiance, welcoming staff. Everything you'd want in a restaurant. The best restaurant in Monton I hear you ask? You'd better believe it.

Great as always! Never had a bad experience. Staff are friendly and the food is to die for and not too expensive either. Good times all round!

First visit since the re furbishment as it was early January the restaurant was a little quieter than normal.Went for the early bird menuFood and good waiter service.

Food and service was excellent. A little disappointed that they hadn't responded to an email I had sent but I can't really complain. Would highly recommend Blacksticks and will certainly return.

Always good. Good service good food and good value. I like the new surroundings which offer a chance to go I. For just a drink and tapas at the bar too.

We have been a few times to Blacksticks. It has a nice atmosphere with friendly service. Food is good (I like tapas). Wine is reasonably priced.

Really good but disappointed with an overtaking tapas menu. Liked the flavour of authentic British/Italian cuisine previously but slightly too much the other way for me.

Brilliant as usual, Happy Christmas Guys - you are always top notch. Great service by lovely staff, would really recommend the Blacksticks Brunch. Standard never fails!

Lovely food and great service! The staff were very efficient and friendly. Good value lunch menu. Two courses for £12! Very tasty and portions enough for a good lunch.

Excellent service delicious food and good wine at a very reasonable price. Recently refurbished the restaurant has a warm and welcoming feel. Choice between tapas and regular starter main and desert suits all diners!

Had booked a table the restaurant was busy and lively. We ordered drinks but it took another 30 minutes for someone to take our food order. We ordered a bottle of wine to go with our meal and asked for a jug of water. We requested a jug a further 2 times and we got a small glass of water between us!!! The food was nice but personally felt it was on the expensive side for the amount in each dish.

Lovely food and staff. We would definitely recommend to others and we are looking forward to another visit. Good value for money And a good wine menu.
