Thoroughly enjoyed our night out at Blacksticks, great variety of tapas, lovely staff, good atmosphere with good choice of music for Valentine’s night.

My wife and I love the small plates, they are just right for a light lunch (plus a bottle of wine, 3 pints and an old fashioned)

We had a lovely catch up with friends and the early bird menu food was great. The only thing this restaurant lacks is a downstairs toilet facility, we knew beforehand it didnt have one so was our choice to still come. For people like me and my friend the stairs were difficult to negotiate

Some noisy guests when we first arrived, but it is the festive period so no surprise there. Music in the restaurant was a little loud for my taste. Overall evening lovely as the food was great as usual.

The food was lovely but no festive spirit at all we had the party menu with no party at all not even cracker! Food was delicious though

Did not have a Christmassy atmosphere, didn't see a Christmas tree, no Christmas music seeing as we went for our Christmas doo, felt like we could of been out in September, wouldn't come again for a Christmas meal but the food was lovely.

Everything was really good. Unfortunately the pork was dry but they apologised and gave that person a complimentary desert. All in all a good experience.

Excellent value lunch menu...my wife and I really enjoyed the steak and sea bass followed by cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding served by pleasant and attractive staff.

Food and staff great but music so loud we could not hear each other during conversation. We did ask for it to be turned down, which it was, but not by much. probably would not go again because of that noise

A member of staff dropped a tray of drinks all over my friend. No apology. Did not reseat us and tried to clean around us. Did not even offer a free drink as a way of an apology. Food was only ok. Definitely not going back.

When we booked, we didn’t know there would be live music and unfortunately this was very loud for such a small restaurant. We were very disappointed as it was impossible to have a conversation. Food was very good, as usual but overall not a good experience,

Early bird menu had a good choice, food was delicious and service was great.

The food was fabulous it is the first time we have been there it was for my husband's birthday,it was a little bit noisy when we first went in but nothing that was to much.
