Modern restaurant, not your usual curry menu, but very tasty

Fab on all levels! Can't wait to go back. The 'street' food is excellent and so much more interesting than the bog standard menu you usually find.

There were lots fo starters to choose from, but very little mains to choose from.

I thought the place lacked atmosphere, I don't like an overly busy place but this was just too quiet. Good selection of starters but not much explanation in what they were. Little choice in mains. They food was very reasonably priced and was good, but not great. The person who served us was polite and cheerful. All in all though it wasn't enough to tempt me away from my usual choice of Indian restaurants.

As always the food was wonderful! The first mouthful takes me straight back to India! The flavours are vivid, fresh and exciting, and unlike almost any other "Indian" restaurant I have sampled. Bramhall is a much better place since Bombay to Mumbai opened!

First time at this “ not your usual curry house” indian restaurant. We needed some help with the menu and we were delighted with our choices. We will be back

Great atmosphere, lovely food and excellent service. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Book early if you want to go, especially on a Saturday evening. We booked about 3 weeks in advance and could only get a table at 6.15pm.

Amazing food and great first experience of Indian Street Food. Toilets could be bigger and warmer, and draft from the front door eliminated however wouldn't stop me from visiting again.

Relaxed atmosphere , friendly staff and a very different menu from your usual curry house . However , it was different in a very pleasing way - it was the best Indian food I have had in a long time

We had another delicious meal at Bombay to Mumbai. The vegetarian choices are interesting and very tasty. We particularly like the dishes with spinach and the fluffy bread is lovely - something I've never had before. I recommend it.

Fabulous food. We have been to Bombay to Mumbai several times - it’s different to the average Indian - it’s much better. Great flavours and choice. We are vegetarian- try the spinach & lentils or the peanut aubergine dish - both amazing.

We were a table of 4 and enjoyed a terrific meal with wonderful food and service. All members of staff were pleasant and helpful. We would definitely recommend Bombay to Mumbai.

Good service. Wonderful flavours and the lamb just melts in your mouth. We ordered two starters that were so creative and delicious and then the mains which were full of flavour.

Food was excellent. We ordered a number of starters instead of a main which was fine but would have liked things to be served a little slower and not all at the same time. 2 at a time would have been better. Other than that loved it.

First time we visited the restaurant and we liked the very welcoming staff and the superb food. Lovely atmosphere and not the usual Indian dishes you would normally have. A very good thing was the smaller selection to choose from, as for this reason you get much better quality and more genuine food. We will definitely visit again!

Fabulous... Totally different from usual fare.perfect sized portions. Popular even at 6pm so glad we booked. SlightlyLimited range of options for young children but a good intro for them into mild dishes

Ok starters need explaining? And was not as good as the main . I had staff lamb curry which was excellent. My son had chicken tikka which he said was as good as he has tasted .

This was the first time we had tried this restaurant attracted by the excellent tripadvisor ratings. Very friendly service and the food was good albeit the menu was limited. Would go again

I eat here a lot, the owners and staff are always welcoming and knowledgable about the food. The food cannot be faulted, delicious, fresh and presented well. Well worthy of its recent inclusion in the food food guide.

Pleasant experience, nice staff and different food. Would not rush back but may certainly go again in the future as style of food didnt particularly suit us but was really busy early on a Saturday evening so obviously suits others. Wouldnt want to put anyone off trying though.

The staff were welcoming, the food was excellent and plenty of it. We will definitely be return soon. Only slight fault was that our second drink took ages to arrive had to as twice before it finally arrived

A refreshing twist to the average local Indian restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly, food was full of flavour and beautifully presented. The menu boasts a huge range of choices, the street food starters were amazing, we opted to share a curry and 3 starters and were impressed with the multitude of flavour and quality of the food and meat. The chilli chicken starter was to die for! We will not hesitate to return very soon!

Fantastic food always tasty and fresh. Great service with friendly helpful staff where nothing is too much trouble. Lovely atmosphere even when its a busy night. There at least ince a week - thumbs up from us!

I just love this place! The staff are excellent and the surroundings are really interesting. The food is the star though - the first sniff of the samber with a dosa takes me straight back to India. Unlike almost all other "Indian" restaurants, this one serves real Indian food and every mouthful is a burst of flavour. If you've been to India come here and remind yourself of its glories, and if you haven't been to India, come here to sample the food you will find when you do go!

As usual absolutely delicious, staff attentive, food full of flavour and well presented. The term Mumbai street food just doesn’t do the food justice neither does Indian restaurant.... it’s on another level a mix of Indian and Chinese spices blows the tastebuds.

This place is simply amazing. I’m a massive curry fan but the food here is like nothing I’ve tasted before!! The chaat puri sharing platter is a must for starters......like a flavour explosion. And the lamb sagwaala blew me away. Portion sizes are perfect, staff are friendly, knowledgeable and passionate......can’t wait to go again!!!

Excellent service and the food was delicious with lots of different and varied dishes. My friend is vegetarian and she was bowled over with the choice available to her.

Great food, great looking restaurant with contemporary design and welcoming/friendly staff. Indian street food in the heart of Bramhall with full on spicing and full on taste. We will be back. Thank you for a lovely evening.
