Staff very friendly and nice internal setting but service very poor with drinks order wrong, no spoon for soup provided, no bread provided for soup, soup cold, sides did not arrive until most of main course finished, main courses very small, average quality and not value for money. First visit to the restaurant and would not recommend or go back

Great food and a nice atmosphere, making it a cut above the rest, with great offers during the week, making it quite affordable for top food and great service.

Nice, some staff need more training as one girl forgot we'd even ordered drinks for 20 mins and they weren't handing out the tapas properly, just threw it on our table for us to figure out what was what! Gorgeous restaurant though.

Pleasant surroundings, welcoming staff and excellent food! Good choice of light lunch dishes and sandwiches. Excellent wine! Also some good offers and discounts available. Will definitely visit again.

Food and service very good and price wise value for money! We were a large party and the restaurant was busy but all the food and drink orders arrived promptly!! Lovely afternoon!

Absolutely top points; for the welcoming, the friendly service, beautiful food and the setting. Cannot find a single thing that could be improved on! Even the background music was spot on, soft but enough to ensure conversations at tables were kept private, perfect!

We went for the 'steak night' which is fantastic value for money. As always the service was excellent, very pleasant attentive staff. A very relaxed comfortable atmosphere, all in all a lovely evening.

We go for Sunday lunch and it is lovely the staff are great too. We have also been for the steak night on a Thursday great value for money

My main course was over cooked and dry. Also the waitresses and one of the chefs left the building half way through service to smoke and brought the odour back with them. The consolation was a mid week discount, but we will not return.

Fantastic food and wonderful atmosphere. Staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We loved the newly launched menu here and will certainly be back here again.

30% of the entire bill on a Tuesday and Wednesday is Excellent value, well looked after by staff and had a great night with friends. Couldn't fault it, Will definitely return

The restaurant ambience was good the food was good one little thing that would have made this an absolutely great evening, was the fact that as the restaurant got progressively more people seated at their tables the service got that little less attentive. This is no fault of the the staff but more from the owners who need to look at the customer to staff ratio.

I was so disappointed with this restaurant and don't like leaving such a negative review. Of the 4 dishes we had, only the lamb koftas were of a standard expected. The other starter the crab risotto was very bland. The mains were an extreme let down. My girlfriend had the cod which was cooked perfectly but the rest of the dish was a let down & she commented that canellini beans & tomatos tasted like they'd just came straight from a tin. I had the venison loin and it was so amazingly over cooked that I struggled cutting through it with a knife & ended up leaving most of it. I've heard great reviews about this place but I doubt I would return. One positive with The Brasserie I have to say the front of house team are excellent.

Staff were warm and welcoming .We have a fantastic meal and we had great service . The atmosphere was relaxed and tranquil without being too quiet as I have been in the past and it was really loud and overpowering. Food was lovey .My only real criticism is the Stephen Fry reading from Harry Potter which is played continually in the toilet it drives me crazy

Just back from a meal celebrating my mothers Birthday...Lovely views of the sun setting over the Transporter bridge..topped off by great food & more importantly...great service from a very friendly team. What more can you ask for? A*
