First trip to Glasgow, restaurant came highly recommended. W e found a great atmosphere with excellent food - especially the borsh. Very reasonable price as well.

Had a lovely meal. Everything was delicious. I had vegetarian peppers, so tasty. The rest of party had babushka blitzes - vege stuffed pancakes with orange sauce. Aromatic lamb and beef stroganoff. Everyone loved their food. Love the decor too, recommend it highly.

Was very nice & very filling too ,would try it again .if I was in Glasgow again & staff very friendly as well.🙂Had a nice welcome too.👍

We had pre-booked Cossachok for dinner to celebrate my partners birthday. We left extremely disappointed at the level of service , poor communication between waiting staff . When we checked in, the waiter informed me that there was no booking under my name for our booked time and I had o show my Quandoo reservation. We order; a starter each of Borscht, with mains of Babushka Blintzes and Moscow Blintzes and we said that we would decide on a dessert later. We were served our mains We informed the waiter that we had each ordered Borscht and said that we would prefer to have our starter before our mains . He apologized and said that the waitress had mixed up the order.We then requested one Kutuzov Cake . I asked if they could present it with a candle as it was my partners birthday. A waitress arrived with the cake - no candle. We ate the 'Breathtaking multi-layered honey cake,,(menu description) which was average . A waiter arrived and quietly apologized for no candle. Again the waitress got the blame. At no point were we asked if we enjoyed our food, we were never offered water and there was no compensation offered for the spoiled birthday meal.

The food was superb and the staff were lovely! We will be back! I had a lamb kebab there was loads of meat my friend had stroganoff superb and my other friend monkfish amazing clean plates all round

Good food, well presented. Nice, pleasant staff. Serene atmosphere. Different menu, so an opportunity to try different things. Would recommend and will definitely be back.

Good food on a limited menu, need to go back to try other great sounding dishes. Warm welcoming staff, atmosphere was fine, music in the background, but able to talk no problem

Quality food, good service and great value for money. Comfortable surroundings with good range of beers and spirits. The staff were attentive and helpful in explaining the composition of various dishes.

Superb food & service, wonderful atmosphere and fair price: quite possibly the best in town! Cafe Cossachok is unique in Glasgow too and offers a wide-ranging menu including plenty of veggie options.

Very enjoyable and would recommend. Interesting and varied menu with much more to try. Interesting environment and good service. Would certainly try to return again.

Food was lovely staff very helpful and excellent service lovely atmosphere and a lot of choice of food I have been to this restaurant a lot and never been disappointed

Went midweek with a friend and the place was very cosy, nice atmosphere pre-Christmas. Food came very quickly and the staff was lovely. Would recommend.

Second time I've been to this restaurant. The first visit would have got 5 out of 5. Only took one mark off tonight because I thought the service was a little slow. We had to sit and wait a while before someone came to take our drinks order. The food however was delicious. Look forward to coming back.

Fantastic food, great service, lovely cocktails. Loved the atmosphere too. This restaurant is always a winner for us . Cannot wait to go back. Only negative is that front door was left open ( by customers) few times and it’s was really cold outside and I had to keep getting of my seat several times to close it . Perhaps would help if inside double doors were also kept closed.

I ordered the borscht soup for my starter, the soup as per usual was delicious. However I ordered the chicken Kiev for the mains, the batter on the Kiev was heavy and quite doughy, the chicken itself was tasteless and dry a mains I would not order again.

This is the best restaurant I’ve been to in Scotland. I couldn’t find a single flaw. Service, atmosphere, location, food and drink are all absolutely perfect.

The food was delicious. I let the waiter choose my meal and it did not disappoint. The staff were also very friendly. I would go back.

Very relaxing informal restaurant, attentive staff without being in your face. The food was delicious, although the portions were large and I don’t like wasting food. Maybe the restaurant could offer 2 sizes of main course which would result in less waste? Overall a lovely evening and we will definitely go again 😊

Lunch menu is great value. £9 for two courses of good food! Staff friendly and attentive. Busy too which is always a good sign I think!

Lovely food as always and staff always helpful and happy. Only thing I could say would be a menu change as been going for a few years now and menu is the same.

Very delicious food and great environment. As someone with allergies, I always have to select my meals carefully, but the staff were kind, attentive, and patient with me and my allergies and helped me select something delicious to try for the night.

Lovely quirky decoration. Service is great. Menu has a good choice without being overwhelming. Only coment is that there are not enough vegetables with the meal and there wasn't any side dishes to order. Wouldl still highly recommend a visit.

Food was very tasty, service attentive, atmosphere authentic. Prices very reasonable. Overall, a good eating place with pleasant atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone who wants to discover Eastern Europe /Russian cousin.

Great food, lovely venue and very attentive staff. We can't wait to go back! Try the deep fried garlic rye bread and pickle herring (I didn't think I'd like either and polished off the whole lot!)

I'm never disappointed with the menu, every time we visit I try something new and every time I have a new fav dish. Staff are attentive and have a great knowledge of the menu.

Good food, but terrible service. Had to wait over an hour for food. Had to wait another 30 minutes for dessert and the drinks never came so we cancelled the drinks and left.

Have been before and this time, again, did not disappoint. Good wholesome food at good prices particularly their lunchtime menu - although the lamb rice dish was disappointing. Am also disappointed at the lack of proprietary vodkas available and seating is a bit basic. However overall a good dining experience.
