Went for Sunday lunch, booked through website, which was very easy to do. Meal was superb, no complaints at all. Service and attention to detail was excellent.

Sunday lunch was brilliant and the staff were friendly. the only reason I didn't give top marks was because there wasn't a meat substitute for vegetarians, my poor dad just had veg and gravy :(

I really enjoyed our Sunday dinner , the veg was nice and you got quite a lot of meat . Had a few cocktails which were by far the best thing .

Really impressed, really tasty fresh food, good menu choice, drinks menu is fab & couldn't fault the service - will definitely be back again soon

Booked table weeks in advance for 8 people + highchair for a birthday meal. It appeared that they weren't ready for us and cleared a table right next to the main door in the bar, which became very busy, with lots of foot traffic, people standing up against us and empty glasses being left on the table as we tried to have dinner. The food was great, but the occasion was spoiled by the poor table.

Only reason I didn't give it a 5/5 was because of where we were seated, we were put in a small corner of the bar on a table with other people waiting for food, would have been nicer to be sat on our own or maybe away from all the people who just wanted a drink. It was very busy so it was a bit of a squeeze to get in and out of our table to go to the toilet etc apart from that everything else was fab!

Great food, great staff, great cocktails. Canteen and Cocktails is one of the better restaurants in Norton, good for a posh night out or a chill lunch date.

Gorgeous food and amazing cocktails my firat visit and was not disappointed will definitely be returning the burgers and Sunday roast were fantastic 😆 😀

Excellent Sunday lunch- the is my new 'goto' place now for Sunday lunch. Service and portion sizes were just as should be. Cauliflower cheese amazing

Had my favourite Nacho starter but not as many Nachos as you normally get. Main meal was lovely, nice portions. Staff were grill and atmosphere good.

Food was great! Service was great! The pork could of been slightly less fatty but was still very succulent. The mash potatoes were incredible, along with the cauliflower.

Drinks are amzing, food is very salty but still fab. Service is shockingly bad every time we go. Staff just run away as soon as they have put stuff down when we wanted more food/drinks

Sunday lunch was absolutely delicious! Desserts were OK but not as good by comparison, plus we requested an alternative ice cream to go with one but were given the standard. Food was brought out quickly and staff were attentive and friendly and gave lots of attention to our little boy. One area that maybe needs a little more care from staff - the highchairs attach directly to the table and the waiting staff then put our very hot food down directly in front of our toddler who could easily have pulled it onto himself.

food too greasy. chips awful. Service quite poor-we had to ask for everything from napkins to a glass that didn't have lipstick on, to order and then for the bill. Burgers were decent but not worth the cost. First and last visit

Food was great. Portions are smaller than they used to be, bit disappointing as they are obviously cost cutting. Table next to us said the same.

Lovely food in a quirky environment. Went for lunch and experienced a quick effocient service and friendly staff. Would go again. Wine in iced glasses a nice touch.

Had Sunday dinner with the family. Food was amazing. Be warned though - portions are huge, so we didn't have space for dessert - which also loooked amazing.

Firstly this was a very busy Saturday night in the lead up to Christmas so this was also my mistake and I accept within reason some of the error in going out this night for a meal. I booked the reservation with this site for 8pm on a Saturday night. It was easy to do, quick and confirmed within minutes. I've been to the bar/restaurant before however midweek with friends and it was brilliant. On this night however it was not. I was also speaking to a friend and they had a similar experience but it was a few months ago. Anyway, the greeting was fine. We were shown to our table and that was the first problem. It was directly in front of the doorway blowing in the fresh December air but also people surrounded it either standing drinking or sitting drinking (without eating). I don't mean standing at the bar, I mean directly around the table(s) - we weren't the only ones suffering this. I asked to move but no other seating was available which is fair enough. We bared through it and the food was exceptional as it was the time before. I had the beef brisket burger and the mrs had a form of chicken burger. For info sides such as chips/fries are extra - it didn't bother me but might to some. Awesome and would highly recommend. The service was prompt for the night and we had table service for drinks. Any other night it would of been great ratings but given our and my friends experience, I'd be reluctant to go on a weekend again. I'd stick to TGI Fridays.

We picked a Monday night (wife's birthday) so it was quiet in there. That suits me as a hearing disability means I don't care for noisy places. Staff were attentive without being fussy, friendly and eager to assist. Food exactly as expected, just what we wanted at the time, and the chips (house fries) come highly recommended.

Very very noisy, placed order shortly after arriving at pre booked time and 45 minutes later were told one of the mains we had ordered was no longer available,thereafter had to be more than patient to await changed order. Would have thought 45 minutes inexcusable time for kitchen to realise they could not fulfill order.waitress very. nonchalant about this and no apology given. In fairness when food arrived it was O.K but service and lack of customer care precludes a return visit or recommendation.

Lovely Sunday lunch but much prefer the brisket to the roast beef! My fellow diners felt the same so please bring it back again soon

The cocktails were good and so was the food but the customer service was slow, they forgot to bring us the drinks we had ordered twice and it wasn't even that busy considering how many staff were on. The seating is also uncomfortable and when we asked if we could move the waiter said we would have to ask the manager ourselves. Couldn't he have done it for us?.

Not as impressed as when I last went, got the sharing platter with beef and chicken. Chicken was two thighs but disappointed it wasn't breast meat, no mash only carrots and parsnip mashed up. My partner only had one slice of beef one toastie one Yorkshire pud one broccoli and some peas...for £12 not worth it for him. Loved the gravy however and cauliflower cheese. Might come back if had mash on.

Another good Sunday lunch with a good atmosphere and great staff. Slightly disappointed with the new Sunday Lunch menu changes but still a good meal.

Lovely evening with friends in atmosphere to suit. The Industrial decor works well and the fillet steak with fries and salad was gorgeous! Definitely be back!
