Had an amazing night as I had done each time I’ve been here. My mam also thoroughly enjoyed it, great atmosphere and the best cocktails. FYI they have a smaller menu choice on a sunday which I was unaware of until there - still had burger choices which were lovely so we were fine!

food and cocktails were good. good food selection, however didnt have one of the sides on the menu. staff were really friendly, however might have waited a little too long. but still a nice place and would go back.

Good portion sizes, tasty food and loads of drinks, would go again.

Although the noise level was quite high the food was delicious. We will definitely go again. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals and the portion size was great .

last thursday a group of friends had a reunion and Canteen and Cocktails was a great venue. The food was good and the service from Chloe was excellent - thank you!

Me and my wife have been to canteens on many occasions, we always find that the food is really nice, but sometimes the staff can let the place down a little bit, there have been times when we have waited for 10 to 15 minutes without a drink, I have finished up going to the bar myself to get served.

The food was amazing don’t get me wrong. Me and my boyfriend loved it, but the table we were placed at was loud and not very suitably placed, we were placed near the kitchen and near the coffee grinder which was loud and not very pleasant to be near when you’re eating, and we were also nearest to the kitchen where you could overhear conversations from staff which weren’t always appropriate, also, I noticed how the female kitchen staff wasn’t wearing a hair net and she had a lot of loose hairs, I could be wrong but I thought this was legal requirements as she’s working around food, I’ll be coming back but hopefully not sat in the same place

Always guaranteed excellent food and drink and a really vibrant atmosphere. One of my favourites places to eat, drink and generally socialise. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend C&C, Norton.

Love this place. The drinks are amazing and the food is lovely, always my first choice for a cocktail there the best from here, so much choice !!

Had a nice relaxed meal the burgers were spot on, the staff were very friendly and nice. We will definitely be back it's a great atmosphere and an ideal start for us having a night out

Food was out late. Then was wrong. Then they had run out of the food we did actually order. Ruined thr night really but staff where apologetic.

Great choice on the menus for both food and drink. All food and drink purchased was lovely everyone enjoyed everything bought. The only downfall was very slow service when asking for sauces etc - one girl had ate her meal before it came.

Sunday dinner Brisket. Dare I say it, the best Sunday dinner and at a great price. Always a winner.

Love his place but was a little disappointed with the quality of the food. We come here a lot and the food was very salty and we left quite a bit. We did mention this to the waitress but nothing was said after that.

Service was terrible! We waited 90 minutes just to get our main meal! The lasses that served us were very apologetic but it’s a long time to wait for food.

Food was excellent, we arrived with an additional guest and it was no probs for them they fit us all in including a child with a high chair. We have some lovely food along with a few cocktails, great day with excellent service..

Gorgeous food, but we got an awful table at the bottom of the stairs where people were leaning on the table and getting in the way which spoiled it for us. We were also the only ones eating downstairs. Always ask for a table upstairs.

Canteen and cocktails had good food and a great atmosphere. Didn’t squash too many people on one table. Stayed for more cocktails afterwards. Lovely evening

Great place and good food. Table service standard dropped once we had finished eating when we planned on staying for drinks, sat with empty glasses for a while.

we visited on a Thursday evening to celebrate my birthday. The staff were extremely friendly. The drinks and food were all excellent, will definitely be visiting again.

Excellent food and good atmosphere. Food very filling, nachos are a meal in themselves. Cocktails are to die for made fresh and full of fruit

Really enjoyed the food and staff are really good was a little bit disappointed that we couldn't have been seated upstairs we were told it was closed but then it opened within 10 mins of us being sat downstairs! Apart from that everything was fine.

After being dissapointed the last time we were here it was definitely back to 5 stars for us again today. Had a sharing Sunday lunch and both the food and the service were excellent. My only complaint is that there was too much but it definitely was not quality over quantity. It was so good I've eaten far too much and not left enough room to sample the excellent choice of beers they also have.

Staff were friendly and attentive. Food came pretty quick. The food was fresh tasting. My husband got the tacos and I got the lamb burger. The hot mayo was too hot! Atmos and music good.

Food and service was great would of preferred to be seated at traditional table height as opposed bar height on stools when eating but that didn't get in the way of a lovely meal!!! Also atmosphere and range of drinks downstairs later in the evening were superb!!!

Lovely place, the food was amazing!! Will definitely be visiting again. Would highly recommend the feather blade steak which was delicious and a numberone cocktail!!

Decided on the off chance to go after hearing great reviews, Ordered top side beef Sunday dinner sharing platter, was absolutely incredible, definitely won't be the last time I go.

First time visitor with my son: Friendly staff good service and yummy food. All boxes ticked. We will come back and next time, we will leave room for pud.

Lovely food and good amount. Very nice service. Seating not ideal, especially with a 2 year old. But overall enjoyed the meal and desert also.
