Absolutely amazing!! Best Sunday lunch we've had in a long time and great customer service too. Will definitely be booking to go back very soon.

We had a lovely time. We were taken to our table as soon as we arrived & were looked after until we left, very friendly staff, excellent food & service. Highly recommend canteen & cocktails.

Sunday Lunch sharing platter ordered for 4 people, we had all 3 meats on offer, Pork, Chicken and Brisket. All beautifully cooked, super yorkshire puddings and roast veg. Overall a lovely Sunday lunch with quick and friendly service.

Booked a table for but offered two end seats where someone else was eating. If I book a table for two I expect to get a table for two!

Absolutely gorgeous food! Everything I ordered was delicious! However, the service was slow and could be quicker and seating was ok, but cannot knock the food!

Lovely food, had the pulled pork bap and joint of beef! Both with sweet potato fries, delish! Cocktails were to die for! Great service and good music will definitely go back!

Food was excellent (nachos starter a particular highlight) large portions and great quality. Good range of beers and cocktails made fresh were really nice. Service was friendly and as fast as could be expected at a busy time on a Saturday night

Good food but very poor service We were celebrating a birthday Had our main course then We were rushed off our table With no offer of deserts or coffee Clearly the staff wanted to go home and we far from friendly

Gorgeous food had a waiter who didn't really know what he was doing as he was a bartender but made the experience better definitely recommend.

Been here lots of times for food and drinks but Sunday we tried a 'Sunday lunch platter' and it was delicious! Didn't expect anything else really! Fab food and a great atmosphere! 👍🏻

Great service, great food, fabulous cocktails! Sat upstairs which was a great bonus as can sometimes be crowded downstairs. Great can now book for less than 8 people. Will definitely be returning!

Unfortunately the food took almost an hour to arrive at the table, which wouldn't have felt so long had we not had empty glasses and struggled to find staff to make more. The food was tasty but some food was missing or drinks that were ordered were wrong. The price for a chicken breast with a small thimble of coleslaw was £10.95 ish and a side was £3 extra, a bit steep.

We often like to visit Canteen & Cocktails for Sunday dinner and each time have had fantastic food and fantastic service. We love the idea of the sharing platter - it works perfectly for groups!

Food was delicious but service slow as usual. Then three really drunk really loud lads sat on the next table swearing and being extremely noisy. We had a pregnant person in the group so felt we had to leave early!

Amazing food and brilliant service.. Only downside was it was slightly noisey whilst we we're eating due to it being busy, but that will not stop me from coming back!

Attentive staff, salmon was delicious, quick service. Spent two hours working our way through the cocktail menu. Sweet potato fries are a must! Lovely bar.

Food was lovely, service was good, however one of our meals was wrong but that was sorted very quickly, will definitely be visiting again soon

Canteen and Cocktails has fantastic cocktails, a great atmosphere and excellent food. We had a brilliant night out at this venue and will definitely return.

Great food very large portions. The ribs were huge and fell off the bone. Service could of been better came to take order without us even seeing a menu.

The food was delicious but service quite slow in taking our order even though it was fairly quiet. Initially disappointed with the table offered considering we had a made a reservation but were moved upon request. Would visit again.

Service was really good! Food was okay but quite rich in taste. Also didn't like the high tables and chairs felt there was a lack of normal tables for two people

Best Sunday roast ever ,the beef brisket was the best I've eaten and there was plenty to go round the four of us ,plenty of veg and tasty gravy ,Realy looking forward to eating there again .

Sunday lunch was very tasty although sitting on same table as strangers is not everyone's cup of tea service was good never got rushed like some venues do at busy periods .

Food was great as always. Service and atmosphere good too. We did however have an issue with the fact that they sat us on a table 3 foot from the toilet doors. They have added a number of 2/3 seater tables but just stuffed them in random places. I did complain about it and but all the could offer us was the next table, 5ft from the toilets. Please remove those tables. Awful positioning.

Excellent food, presented bery well, cooked perfectly, reasonably priced for the establishment type. beautiful cocktails overall a really lovely service received. Will be back again.
