Appetisers were fine. Olives and foccacia, not much to get wrong there. The mains were very disappointing. Chicken Milanese had good flavour but was overcooked and quite hard around the edges. Seafood Linguine had a great tasting sauce and the pasta was good but the squid rings were so overcooked they were like hard rubber. The side dish of rosemary roasted potatoes were quite oily and not crispy. The food was edible and I was happy to pay as we had been able to eat the majority but it was quite a let down and not the treat I was hoping it would be.

Excellent service from very pleasant staff. Chosen main courses arrived quickly and were hot. Overall value was good with mains at around £17 each but side dishes considered costly at £5 to £6 each. Very convenient for Core theatre. Will use again.

As it was my birthday took advantage of the free bottle of bubbly which was a really good bottle. Service was very good & our waiter was very professional. Extremely good visit which matched our last visit at Christmas when we had the Christmas fixed menu on evening.

The food was lovely. Gnocchi delicious as was the burger. The service is really poor though. One woman who was managing every table in the place whilst the maitre de (I think) just watched on not doing a lot. Took ages to order, ages to pay, not very attentive. Been a few times and not impressed by the service each time. Food is nice which is a real shame

Being regular customers of both Stratford-upon-Avon and Solihull this was disappointing. Food seemed to be in smaller portions and not as well prepared . This was an anniversary which was messaged on the booking and no one picked up in this . Not sure we will return.

We visit Carluccio's fairly often and always enjoy it. My husband likes the pizzas and I try to try things I haven't had before. Yesterday I had the Giardiniera penne pasta and really enjoyed it. The service was prompt and friendly.

Ambient music seemed loud but maybe that was because restaurant was empty. Not asked if any allergies at table. Chips came half cooked. (These were replaced) Garlic focaccia very soggy and no crispness at all. Generally very poor compared to previous visits. Really don’t think I will be making a return visit.

Food was nothing special. The white wine sauce for the chicken Saltimbacco tasted like it came out of a microwave bag. It was gooey, not what you would expect for a sauce. Menu was limited. Customer service wasn’t great. Been to this restaurant twice and have left disappointed both times.

It was ok. Lasagne was nice but very small portion and Beef ragu was a bit dry.

The location, was great, the service was great. But the food was terrible.....now Im not a qualified chef, but my lasagna and home cooked carbonara is much better. The lasagna was a flop and bland in a dish and your carbonara was dry , very bland and just had no flavour. I ate mine....because I was hungry, but my partner left most of her meal. It was meant to be a valentines romantic meal. For £50 for two mains, one bottled water and one pint of beer. I expected more. Sorry but your chefs need to go......and it's time invest in a top Italian chef. Bring soul back of Italian food into place. Then your restaurant will go places. Good luck !
