Okay. Carluccios are not what they once were, sadly. Extremely dry chicken and tasteless chicken Milanese, and undressed salad. Arancini to start on a blob of tomato passata which tasted like it was straight out of a jar. The arancini tasted ultra processed. Pudding nice, but can’t go too wrong with something containing chocolate and ice cream. Won’t be going back in a hurry.
Very happy with the service, atmosphere & quality of the food.
Great atmosfere and service. Gnocchi were a bit too spicy for my liking but still good
Food was a bit poor. Service was reasonably good, but feel food quality has deteriorated
The food was really nice and well presented. Staff were attentive but not intrusive
Like this restaurant, have been there before. Good choice of food, reasonably priced and served promptly.
It was a last minute booking but we're glad we made it as the restaurant became packed shortly after we arrived. Very friendly and helpful staff especially our server who felt a top of sauce was necessary on my wife's Ragu. Despite being very busy the serving of food was fast. All the food was excellent.
Great service and good food. The waiter was very attentive
Nice food, quick service and pleasant staff.the only down side was a dog sitting at the table nearby. I understand dogs in restaurants these days but don’t think they should be at the table when other guests have to sit close by. The next table to us were also upset by it.
Excellent Meal and Service really enjoyed this dining experience thanks
Not many staff meaning slow to be served etc. food wasn’t great
Our party of 4 was first given a table beside the till when other tables in better locations in the room were available. We asked to be moved and it was no problem.
It was fine, but not as good as I remember Carluccio's being a few years ago. My chicken burger was a bit dry, and difficult to cut through the very crunchy coating. Noise level was high with lots of screaming small children. Service was prompt and very cheery.
Great service. Nice window seat. Good menu choice and a quality breakfast at a reasonable price
Great service. Fine food. Good value. We will visit again soon
Place was full and our table was ready. Staff were busy but were great to serve us and food came very quickly. Food was good and plentiful. Very straight forward and things work as you ordered. Well done team Thx
Food was good. Service was prompt. Liked the wine.neighborhood gem.
We are regular visitors to Carluccio's South Kensington and it is nice to be greeted by some of the staff that know us. The meat of my Milanese Burger was a bit too cooked and a small portion considering the price. My husband's Chicken Saltimbocca was OK. We had the Giant Profiterole, which was served with Pistacchio Cream, between us and it was good. However, the menu never changes at Carluccio's in comparison to other chain restaurants. Therefore I am not surprised that they are closing down and offering 50% off mains. Our Wimbledon branch has now closed. They need to do better to compete.
Lovely service, good food and nice atmosphere. Excellent location close to tube station
We had the most wonderful staff member from Albania look after us. Excellent service and so friendly. We loved our chicken milanese, extremely delicious thank you. It sometimes gets a bit noisy with little kids in this venue but we do enjoy it.
Was very nice. Would go again with my wife as lovely
Great food, attentive and efficient service and a nice atmosphere.
Always a lovely experience w the staff & great food x
Food wasn’t great from the pasta to the ice cream. We were not asking for complicated dishes! The worst carbonara past i had in my life.
Just like the old days but no Vongole! Bit noisy.
Food not freshly prepared and meat very dry. Order not taken correctly
Staff were friendly and the food was good as usual. My only complain is that there was no pizza. This is the second time this is happening in the last three times I went with my family. It was fine for the adults but the children were disappointed. I am not sure we shall choose Carluccio next time we go to the museums with the family as this seems to happen often.
Good service ,and nice atmosphere, and the meal is satisfactory
The staff were very pleasant and coped with tired hungry children. However there was a lot of waiting.
We had breakfast, mine was the vegetarian one and my friend had eggs and smoked salmon. We both enjoyed our meal and I was pleased my poached eggs were done exactly as I ordered. The coffee was p!easant not too bitter.
Was lovely. Lovely food and service. Will go again. Super
Very helpful, friendly staff and a very tasty lunch. By far the best Carluccio’s!
Very lively and entertaining visit - quick and efficient service
Very good dining experience with great food and great service
Reliable good quality and value for money, particularly the set menu
Really exceptional service, food quality as you'd expect, a reliable classic in South Ken
Great Food - the resteaurant was quite full over lunch time, but noise was OK, and service very quick. The staff was also very willing to make subsitutions in food, bring extra sauces or change my freexing coke for the one with room temperature. So overall nice lunch and great experience!
Service and ambience were fine. Chicken burgers and drinks were also fine. But the pasta was poor - overcooked and too dry. The Lasagne had little "juice" and the Carbonara was a paste rather than a sauce. Antonio Carluccio must be turning in his grave :-(
Great gluten free option! Very delicious. Both our meals very very good and service was excellent.
Sadly Carluccio's has gone down hill. We ordered a bottle of Gavi to be told there was only a bottle of Pinot in the whole restaurant, they had run out. The staff never smiled. The food was average nothing special. The toilets were absolutely disgusting. We won't be returning again.
It was a lovely visit. The staff were extremely friendly. The drinks were good, and although a little loud, we had a good time. My main meal was chicken with a crust of rosemary. It was a little overcooked, but still delicious. I´d definitely go back!!
We have a Xmas dinner every year there and the food is fantastic. Atmosphere is very welcoming, the guys are superb.
Estoy de paso en londres y la experiencia fue muy buena
A very enjoyable visit with friendly, efficient staff and great food. The only thing that rather annoying were several young children running around making a lot of noice and not being stopped by their mothers. It took one of the staff to put an end to this and thankfully the children sat quietly drawing after that.
We asked to cancel the service charge and leave a tip decided by ourselves but the charge was not deducted from our bill. We paid in over the amount in cash to leave a tip but and paid in cash but were asked to pay £10 more to settle the amount on our bill.
You know you’ll get a delicious meal with great service.
There is just one grumble. Staff leant across me to serve the friend sat next to me. There was space to go around me. If there hadn't been the least they can do is say "excuse me". The first I knew of it was when the plates & then the coffee came past my face 😒
We were snatching something to eat prior to heading to the Albert Hall so really appreciated the speed with which we were seated and subsequently served. The food was great and the bill very reasonable
Great service and delicious food and a great atmosphere .
Cozy restaurant and great food but the food was not very hot.
