Friendly and welcoming with good service and delicious food. Not a huge menu but something for everyone. A lovely range of drinks and cocktails including some alcohol free drinks. Great ambience with brilliant views over Liverpool.

Lovely restaurant on the top floor of the hotel but it was freezing, the staff said it's because it was cold outside and they had people working there during the day. We had meals in the Carpathia on both nights of our stay but the set menu was very limited and I went for the al a carte menu but that was so expensive as my steak was £32. Lots of good restaurants in Liverpool so if I stop at the hotel again I will eat out.

Poor menu choice which we weren't told about. Food came not as ordered, asked to change table as lots of noisy children on next table, was told all tables were booked but they weren't used while we were there.

very disappointed, ordered lamb main course which was only 2 chops which is not hard to cook. They came with 1 side seared and other side raw. Sent it back. They must’ve seared raw side for 10 seconds as it was still raw in middle could not eat it. I was in party of 4 so we were checking food out as my nephew is getting married here. We had several bottles of wine at £30 each and were asked to move tables for the next booking so felt rushed. We hadn’t even had a drink before being asked for our food order. Again we felt rushed. The wrong chicken main course was sent out to us also which was changed. The staff to be fair were very nice however our first experience here was not great. I hope this is not a reflection of how my nephews wedding will be

Pro's Tasty food Cons Poor service. No one returned to offer us a dessert menu after mains cleared so we got up and left after 30 mins. Drink order taken on arrival however no one returned to offer us another drink throughout duration of meal. Empty glasses from finishing starter to end of meal. Sat amongst two other couples therefore no privacy despite space available elsewhere. This poor service was when the restaurant was quite empty and staff standing around therefore wouldnt like to see it when busy!

Lovely meal in beautiful surroundings . Good service. Not high end, but enjoyable just the same. Feels like they are missing a trick: This is a gorgeous restaurant and with the right chef it could be quite special.

Set menu good value for money. Food delicious and hot. Violin player excellent. Service awful. I'd like to visit again as food was so good but would be reluctant in view of service. There were only 2 tables having lunch with quite a few staff milling around in the back but clearly weren't interested in waiting on. Had to attract someone's attention to order food and drinks to start with. Then ordered more drinks when our main was served which didn't materialise. Our money was taken without even a thank you. Very disappointed. There seemed to be lots of washing up going on behind the curtain in the restaurant - very odd.

I made an online booking weeks ago for my mums special birthday. On arrival the girl looked at us blankly as though she didn’t believe I had pre-booked. We were eventually showed to a table set for afternoon tea then left to it. No member off staff came near. Finally we asked for menus, 10 mins later a young waitress told us there were none available so we would have to wait. Finally we got menus - no one came near to explain what the soup of the day was or the price of the set menu. We asked if we could order drinks- the waitress told me the rose prosecco was white and not pink. We asked for a bottle of rose prosecco- she came back from bar and said they had none but I could have champagne. Ordered a glass of prosecco instead, then asked for the rose prosecco by name and guess what... They had it! Total farce, no customer service at all. Our table was piled up with unwanted plates and cups when the food arrived. Young waitress then appeared with the bottle and she was in danger of taking someone’s eye out until the waiter ran over and took the bottle off her! The food was lovely however by this point my mums birthday meal did not feel special at all. The best was when the waitress came over as I was eating my steak to ask if I wanted a dessert! I had waited months to eat in this beautiful hotel and I am just glad we had not booked a room as well as the customer service was appalling.

Beautiful roof top restaurant with views over Liverpool Harbour and buildings. The decor was fantastic. Had breakfast on 2 mornings and 1 evening meal and couldnt fault any of it. Food was lovely staff very polite, friendly and gave good service. Nothing was too much trouble. A wonderful experience and if ever we are in Liverpool again we would come back here. Thank you xxx

Absolutely fantastic meal for my boyfriend's birthday. I had mentioned whilst making my reservation that this was the occassion, and upon arrival were given a free bottle of prosecco which was very much appreciated. Excellent service throughout and food was delicious! Very lovely time, thank you.

It was our second time there as we don't live in the area, but we enjoyed it so much at our previous visit, we came back. The cocktails outside are fabulous and what a view! Sadly on this occasion 1 of the 3 of us had to complain about the steak. It was not cooked how she had asked and had fat running through it making it very chewy. She couldn't eat it. We did have a discount on the bill but the moment of enjoyment had gone. We had a table at 9pm which I know is late, but they were on offer and with the Giants being there it was the only time they had left. While we were still eating, the chairs were on the table and they were cleaning round- not very professional and we felt like we had to leave. Shame after such a good initial experience but we will not return when we come back to Liverpool the next time.

Firstly we arrived at the wrong restaurant as this is marketed as linked to the titanic so that’s where we went only to be told this happens all the time. Had to get a another taxi back to this restaurant . Arrived in a lovely hall and life to the restaurant. Given a table by the window and the menu . It was so dark we had to use our mobile phone torch to read the menu so not a good start. Eventually given a candle. Menu limited and nothing on the starters was to mine or my partners liking esp after we hadn’t eaten all day so we were disappointed. The main course whilst it was good was very scarce leaving us wanting more again not good when you have been travelling all day and had little food. We were looking forward to a nice meal but left feeeling hungry. The desert sounded great a chocolate brownie but never seen one so small in all my life again felt very let down and under sold. Would not return again as when we go out we like something to eat not something pretty and fancy. Not a restaurant that makes you feel like you had a great meal in great environment. Sorry but a real let down on a special occasion.

Early tea time packed with large tacky hen do’s. Staff friendly but too busy moving furniture for the next big crowd. Although food was nice, had to ask for salt, pepper, napkins...the basics of a ‘high end’ restaurant surely?

Not the best, was double charged on initial bill, was then corrected and we paid but then realised afterwards are 20% discount had not been applied after informing the staff we were hotel guests. Told reception in the morning and spoke to the restaurant manager who said this was our fault but then decided to take my number and said he would call me back after speaking to his manager but have not heard anything since. meal was also very small for the price and not alot on the menu to choose from

Nice food but nothing very special also the waitress chewed gum throughout which was a little distracting. For a nice restaurant there were alot of people including teens/children in tracksuits, it was a special occasion and my husband was a little disappointed he has picked it for me.

Disappointed. Service poor. Food poor. Only table in there and yet loads of tables just left dirty with used plates and glasses on them. Waitress then loudly told her colleague she was extremely hungover and felt like sh*t. Paid £90 and would rather have gone to McDonalds.

Food was ok, a little bit bland, not what we expected for the price! Service was good but a little bit rushed felt that we were rushed to finish our food, pay and go so that they could clear for the next customer!! Will visit roof top bar again but won't be rushing back to the resteraunt soon.
