Castle View Indian Cuisine

This was our first time at the restaurant and we were not disappointed. We were promptly shown to our table, the waiter service was attentive but not rushed. The food was excellent and the atmosphere is very relaxed. We will return soon..

This is a lovely restaurant, quite small so you need to book. The staff are all very friendly and give excellent service. The food is fantastic, probably one of the top 3 Indian meals we have ever had so well worth a visit. I would highly recommend anyone who enjoys authentic Indian cuisine to try it. My only negative was that although the crockery was clean alot of it was badly chipped which for me is off putting.

We really enjoyed our visit to Castle View. The meal was fantastic, really tasty and there was a great choice on the menu. The service was excellent and the staff were very accommodating and helpful-thank you!

The food was amazing, definitely worth the price paid, the service was also very good and efficient. Would 100% recommend either as a takeaway or to sit in the restaurant.

This was are first time to Lincoln City and we were looking for an Indian restaurant with good reviews and ratings and this one ticked all the boxes.

Both the food and service were excellent. I ate Salmon Tikka for starter and a King Prawn Pilipili for my main and I can honesty say I have never eaten better indian food anywhere else. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Great place, superb food and very reasonable. The staff are really friendly and helpful and dishes can be varied to suit your taste. We go regularly and love it. Back again next week!

I took 2 well travelled friends and they were very impressed, the menu was extensive, the food was excellent, the prices very reasonable too. As well as all that the staff were all delightful.

Great food. Lovely attentive staff. Cleaned crumbs off the table without being asked. Told us that if we didn’t like any of the dishes that we’d ordered then just say & they’d bring us something else. Offered free shots at the end of the meal too.

The food was fab - very tasty, expected level of spice. Customer service was great. While it wasn't needed, the offered (twice) to change your meal if you didn't like the taste or spice.

Location, restaurant, food and service were all good, the only unfortunate issue was the music was on repeat, and even after telling them the song kept repeating, which became quite annoying

We had a the sharer tandoori starter which was amazing, followed by a king prawn rogan josh and a chicken tikka masala...couldn’t fault the food or service!

We have been coming to Castle View since it opened in Nov 2016. Food is consistently high quality, the staff are courteous premises wonderful ambience.

Went to the Castle View for our Wedding Anniversary. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and in a great location. Food was wonderful and the service was excellent. We will definitely return. Thanks to all the staff for a great evening...

Fantastic food. Good 'old school' Indian menu. Excellent service, with friendly, helpful staff. Can get busy, but easy to book online to make sure you get a table. All good and I can honestly say that there wasn't a single thing to find fault with. I will definitely be returning, next time I am in Lincoln.

Food was excellent but the service was good but not great for a small restaurant might need one or two more staff who know what there doing, but would go back again

It's a shame you don't go up to 10 out of 10 we have been here loads of times plus had take always to it's 100% food plus 100% staff and as for the owners you couldn't wish for any better they welcome you with open arms and are so friendly credit to them both for running such a good restraunt

Food was as good as ever, seemed to wait longer then usual or it would have been full marks will be back again still the best curry house in town

Best Indian meal we’ve had. The food was delicious- although we ordered too much as the portions were generous. The service was fantastic too, each member of staff very friendly. Could not fault this place. :)

This Indian restaurant never fails to deliver high standard service, food & atmosphere. Booking is necessary for weekend dining. A must for everyone that loves a first class indian.

Good service and very welcomming.The food was very tasty and was at reasonable prices. All the dishes tasted quite different. The background music was not intrusive.

Overall, a great meal at this restaurant. The table was a bit crammed in and that stopped me giving full marks. However, the food was excellent (had the Chicken Tikka garlic chilli) and the service was fantastic. First time I have been asked if I was enjoying the main, and that they would swap it if I wanted! Asked for bill and was offered complimentary shots which was a nice touch. Would certainly come back to this lovely Indian restaurant.

Great meal. Table wasn’t ready so we were offered complimentary drinks while we waited. Service was spot on, food was all amazing - would recommend and will definitely be back. Great value also.

Food fantastic but service not so much. Had to ask repeatedly for more drinks, additional glasses for water (only 2 were given when a table of 5!) and one of the waiters was quite rude, making us feel like we were a pain in asking for things.

Excellent service, excellent food. We only just managed to get a table, it was booked up full from 6pm to 10pm - luckily we wanted an early meal so we booked for 5.30 - highly recommend this restaurant

Overall an excellent meal with very good and attentive service. Good choice of wines and Cobra on draught. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Indian food.
