FOOD WAS EXCELLENT BUT RESTAURANT ITSELF WAS POOR. THE CHAIRS WERE FILTHY THERE WAS NO TOILET ROLL IN THE LADIES AND THE TAP IN THE LADIES WAS HANGING OFF

Food to die for!! Made to feel very welcome. Will definitely be visiting again. Would recommend the halibut! Absolutely delicious. Our new favourite restaurant without a date.

The food and dining atmosphere at Caveau was excellent, and the restaurant represents good value for money. I just felt that the welcome from the front of house staff could have been warmer. Maybe they were just busy.

Lovely surroundings, great food, superb atmosphere - A real hidden gem! Already arranging another visit with friends who I'm sure will be just as impressed.

Lovely cosy restaurant I loved all the candles it gave the room a very special atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful and to top it all the food was delicious, will definetly go back.

Lovely meal and friendly service. We have had two good meals in this restaurant recently. We shall definately go back. My only criticism would be an extra choice of vegetarian starter on the a la carte menu as there were three sea food choices and if you dont eat seafood or red meat there was little choice.

Still our favourite restaurant. Delicious food and excellent service. Actually tried oysters for the first time. Scallops cooked to perfection. Beautiful lamb and the best creme brûlée ever.

Amazing food (the chef certainly knows how to make a sauce and the crepes suzette are to die for) and lovely intimate atmosphere. Love this place.

Scallops, prawns and sole all excellent; room full of candles and nicely lit; and service very good too. But halibut dry and came without prawns in butter sauce; chips small and over cooked; bread poor quality; and wine list limited. For the price, good value for money but could be so much better!

Really lovely service and nice cosy restaurant. Seemed to be garlic in all food we ate but only a minor point and also a little more expensive than other local restaurants? Would go again.

Wonderful food and ambience at a fantastic price with an excellent choice of wines but staff seemed bored like they didn't want to be there.

the food was some of the best we have had for sometime. It was a little more expensive than usual but we considered worth it. It was slightly spoilt by two other customers who were constantly staring at their phones and answering them when they rang. The service was good.

Celebrated my birthday here last night and it was amazing. Staff were great, the food was delicious, the whole group (10 of us) were very impressed and will definitely be back very soon.
