Delicious food, excellent service and a great atmosphere making it a lovely night out. Despite the restaurant being being, the staff still managed to find time to engage with customers and maintain a high level of customer service.

We used a groupon 500g ( 250g each steak) and chips voucher. ( only includes main course) you have to pay extra for starter and extra for the sauce! But the steak tasted really good.

It was my first visit. All great except the noise levels and the proximity of our table with the next one. Almost touching! You could not have a private conversation and we had to almost shout at each other because of the noise level.

Great food, which we could not fault. The quality of the food to two perfectly cooked steak. The staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. Can’t wait to go back.

We came for Valentine’s Day this year, the staff were so friendly and accommodating for my partners Coeliac disease/gluten free requirements. It was my first time going to a steak house and it was great. Definitely recommend.

It’s an intimate restaurant so lots of people in a tight space but that makes it different and we had a fantastic time with lovely food.

Great steak and good service 👌.. the only negative was that we were a bit cramped and on an extremely small table for 2 however it was on a Friday evening and busy time of year so may just try and book at a quieter time next time.

This was our second visit. The first was fabulous. Great food. Lovely staff and atmosphere. This time, the staff and atmosphere were still lovely but the food was average. We had 1 starter to share and a small rib eye steak each, 1 fries and 1 vegetable with wine......£130!!! The steak was nice but have cooked better at home. Chips were chips and the veg was very oily. As I said. The staff were great and the restaurant itself has a lovely cosy atmosphere, but I doubt we will return.

First impression was “oh this is small” and then we were walked through and through until the very end. It’s bigger than you think. Unfortunately when we arrived it felt very cold but the waiting staff quickly turned on the heaters and it was warm again in minutes. Food/steak amazing. Wow the steak is cooked to perfection and the different cuts were so different. Husband who only ever eats fillet walked away saying he really enjoyed rump. I was proved right that my favourite was ribeye. Owner came and chatted to customers which was lovely and he said one word that made this place better than the “Coal Shed” -pretentious!!! Anybody and everybody is welcome here and he is so right. We will defo return very soon and not have to spend exorbitant prices of other restaurant! Wish we had made it sooner.

quite to receive main course but all the staff ignored us for a good 50 minutes before coming down for dessert menus. slow service and a 10% seemed a bit steep. good forever however
