Great food,very busy on the night we went which because we were eating down stairs means it was cramped initially but good service despite the crush 😀👍

Very good meal and good value. Have been a few times and only thing I would like to see is food being served a little more quickly.

Good service and varied menu. Good quality roast dinner, some vegetables undercooked, but food otherwise good. Would visit again. Nice atmosphere and on street parking available near by.

Amazing food (especially the garlic and mozzarella flatbread and salt and pepper fries) and fab attentive staff! I just love the whole ambience of the place! It's definitely a place I look forward to visiting

Excellent service, great food and drinks. We have been here a few times and always a nice atmosphere with staff that are always willing to help.

Menu was great. Food was well prepared and tasty. Service once again was a little slow - and waiter had to be prompted to come to collect the order, order coffee and ask for the bill. Not proactive service. This has been my previous experience too. disappointing in that respect.

Great food but slow service which wasn't great however it was a Friday night but just some feedback , also yeh staff didn't say sorry for the slow service

Generally good altgough my partners soup arrived cold ! On the whole good Staff were lovely and attentive my starter was quite small I would suggest more vagus with mains would be good

Great place but by bank holiday Monday the choices on the menu had diminished. This is essentially a good local restaurant that cares about quality and service.

Excellent food and service as always. First time tasting the new menu was impressed with the amount of choice. I will definitely visit again soon.

Food was nice. Long wait for drinks. Staff were nice but some of the staff just need to chill out, rushing around like the world is going to end, resulted in two drinks spilt on our table that weren't ours. Yes be efficient and get things don't just running around like your hair is on fire makes customers uncomfortable and doesn't look great. Other than that it was a great dining experience

Free round of cocktails given to us because we had to wait slightly longer than expected for food, very understanding when I rang to say we would be late

The atmosphere in Chime is great and the food is fantastic. The Yorkshire pudding fajitas were amazing. Great to have place like this in the local area.

Booked on the day for late afternoon dinner. British fajitas and a turkey roast dinner. I would have liked more vegetables but Lovely food and great service

We had great service and was very well looked after. The food was excellent and very well presented. I couldn't fault anything with our evening!

Food and service were great. Only problem was the noise. it's a common problem with restaurants nowadays. Hard floors, walls and furniture, with no fabric, and loud music to boot! Sadly I would think twice about going again with friends I want to talk to.

Very nice food but service was extremely slow. My chocolate brownie & ice cream Took 45 minutes to arrive. I suggested that the cost of the pudding be waived by way of apology and this was granted.

Good food and great service. The new online booking system is easy to use. We've eaten at Chime many times now and always been very impressed.

Fantastic friendly service, food a little slow but gorgeous once it came. Toilets immaculate. Definitely going again with our other friends who were unable to get a booking last time.

Food was lovely. However we were asked to move off the table we had reserved for dinner after 1 3/4 hours, this made us not leave a tip for the waiter and left us feeling very irritated which spoilt the evening

The atmosphere and service is warm and friendly, the range of the menu is brilliant and the food was superb. I would highly recommend Chime and I will certainly be returning.

Had Full english Breakfast which was hot and very filling. Would definitely go again. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing perfect for a Sunday morning.

As always great food, great service and not too expensive! It's so nice to have somewhere like this local. My partner and I took friends to Chime (they hadn't been before) and they absolutely loved it, they were so sad that they hadn't been before! If anything it was slightly noisey but what can you expect for a beaut place in a Friday night!

Great atmosphere and lovely staff. Food fab, just felt the monkfish could have done with a light sauce along with the boiled potatoes it was served with. However, sorted with a a couple of knobs of butter. Will certainly be back.

The atmosphere in Chime is excellent, the food is very good and the staff always go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I would not hesitate in recommending the wine bar.

great food and good to have live music. Unusual but tasty "British Fajitas" - beef wrapped in Yorkshire pudding served with chips and gravy - great comfort food and a massive portion!

Lovely dinner with my little boy who was treated beautifully. Staff were great today particularly Georgina who is a credit to the place. Amazing chilli beef.

Great evening with friends and the food was enjoyed by all. The chef went out of his way and came to talk to us when a couple of us had queries regarding a dish - very impressive and they were more than happy to help.

Really good food and excellent service. Menu is very good and a real variety of choice. Had a party of two adults and two children and food suited all tastes.

A good menu but the occasion was let down by very nice but very inexperienced young staff. A little more training would but this atmospheric restaurant even better
