Waitress was lovely, everything good and a surprising amount of gluten free options for the sandwich bar.

Really nice eve. Great service from young lady. Only reason not full stars as three things on menu that one member of diners fancied weren’t available.

Superb food, nice and pleasant atmosphere for food and drinks

Restaurant quieter than expected, we thought there would be more atmosphere with a 7.45pm table on the Thursday before Xmas. Later diners turned away as kitchen closed quite early, although there was plenty of room and many free tables.

Food was spot on as usual, however we did wait an hour for it which wasn’t great, waiter did give us a free drink however for the wait.

Bad start, but hat a recovery! Apparently, it's common for the restaurant to be very busy between 6 and 8, so we had to wait half an hour before we were allowed to order food. However, we had an exceptional Black Forrest cocktail whilst waiting and the staff were very friendly. The food was great - not going to bother the guys from Michelin but above the local standard. Great value - especially the 2 for 1 pizza (breakfast the next morning!). Oh, that cocktail though.....

Unfortunately not our best visit, I ordered the Christmas Crackers Pizza, I got the Utterly Quackers pizza, which was very nice, so did not complain as I was hungry and did not want to wait for my original choice to be made, my 2 friends had linguine which was very under cooked, they complained and it took 20 mins to come back, when it did they said it was gorgeous. As I had finished my meal we asked for something to make up for the disruption, the waiter came back with the offer of a free drink which made up for previous events. We did have a lovely time, the staff are great, and the place is clean, has nice decor, I have been before and everything was perfect, so despite criticism I would recommend.

Really nice place, lovely decorations and really kind/helpful staff, just a shame that the food wasn’t as nice as I was hoping! Would go back to try other food though as it is a lovely setting.

Better now that it’s not tapas and the prawn linguini was delicious. Expensive though.

Wonderful food, great atmosphere. Could do with a dairy free/vegan pudding on the menu that is more exciting than sorbet. Would definitely go again if my parents are in town!

Service and food both excellent. I ordered a spicy dish and it was spicy which i like. (in some places can only just taste the spice).

More knowlegde of the menu from our server could have been a little better and they never seem to have a full stock of your desired food choice

My meal was lovely - I had the tortilla basket with prawns. Unfortunately my friend's meal was very poor. She had king prawn linguini - there were 4 prawns in it and it was a very small portion. I mentioned that we were disappointed to the waitress, she said that she'd let the chef know. I hoped maybe to get a reduction in the bill as a goodwill gesture, or even a free drink, but nothing. Such a shame, as it's very local to us. Could be so much better!
