China Red - New Market Road

Very nice food and an excellent concept off not having to leave your table at a buffet. Staff a bit too pushy in trying to clear away plates and also a bit unsettling when they make it clear they need you to leave almost as soon as you stop eating to free up the table. Would recommend, but at a quieter time than a Sat night to make it more relaxing.

Beautiful place & plenty of tasty food that just keeps coming! Great idea - something a wee bit different, with all the dishes of food just passing by your eyes. Desserts looked lovely but were a bit bland, but the main dishes more than made up for it!

Absolutely fantastic experience. We are visiting the China Red restaurant regularly because there is the amazing food,specially sushi and desserts. Very kind staff. For me 5 stars from 5!

It was my very first time here and it was not too bad but no many choices you can eat. I expected more different kinds of food.

Tasty food and friendly staff. A very social experience for a buffet, as you don't have to leave the table. Good value for money. We go regularly.

Restaurant very busy when we arrived, chaos would be a good description. No one seemed to care or be interested in seating people with reservations. When seated 15 mins late, food choice and quality was pretty good. Desserts were a bit underwhelming.

Friendly staff and good food. Card machine was out so cash only which was a small inconvenience. Would recommend to anyone for a good chinese.

Excellent food and service, we will definitely be back and throughly recommend to everyone. Chef bar pork burger cooked to order yum everything was hot and very tasty, to many pudding to mention yum yummy yum

It's just a gimmick with the revolving machine. Have tasted better and hotter food at other buffet restaurants. Wouldn't go back. Very noisy as well!

Fabulous night, lovely food and great value, plus the novelty factor wowed our guests. I'd recommend this to everyone. Even the slightly picky eaters in our party we're tempted to try new things thanks to the buffet option.

We were seated quickly. Staff were very attentive and friendly. There was an excellent choice and quality of food. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend and return.

Great tasting food at a good price. Staff were friendly and attentive. Restaurant was busy at 6pm but buffet food choice was still plentiful & hot and the staff coped well. Will be back.

Good food, fast service, friendly staff. The duck breast was cold and greasy which was a let down but other than this I enjoyed my meal.

Lovely food, attentive staff and a face painting facility for the kids. What more could you ask for? Slightly expensive though but still loved it. Will definitely go back again

China Red is always good fun. It's a bit of a novelty grabbing dishes from the conveyor belt and trying lots of different things. Food tasty and hot. Good variety. Service okay but took ages to serve our drinks. The kind of place you would be in a crowd now and again.

Not a big variety of plates and most of them were not tasty. Not even decent quality given the price. There are other option with much better food.

All in all it was really great. Staff was super friendly, food was good and we really felt like we got value for our money. Only one tiny thing did not make it perfect, ant that was the 10 minutes wait for our table

Restaurant was very busy food was good but felt a little rushed at end of meal as other people where needing the table Better to go here at lunch time when less busy

Great food and great fun at unbelievable prices. We have been a few times and I think you get the best experience if you go as a group of 3 or more as you tend to share and try new things.

Friendly staff, tasty food and a really sociable experience, as you can eat without having to leave the table as per the usual buffet set up. Just remember they don't accept card payments. Cash only.

Great family restaurant, good selection, staff were only too happy to help with anything, lovely food, will definitely go back. It would've been handy if you could pay by card as it is cash only.

Every single item of food was of poor quality and cooked nothing like it should be. The chicken satay was especially bad. AVOID unless your happy throwing money away.

Was busy so manager twice tried to encourage us to leave our table so that he could seat someone else. Will not be going back.

Food wasn't hot, service was poor. They didn't have a note of our reservation even though it was booked a couple of days earlier. A lot of the food had run out and wasn't replaced. The food I did eat was tasty although the temperature was not very hot at all

Could not use credit or debit card to pay which was a pain! Lovely food but a real lack of rice etc when we started eating.

All you can eat was good, with the revolving meals, but service button broken, and they didn't tell us that. Good value. Surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night.
