City Spice

I was met at the restaurant by a charming young man who showed me to my table. I chose a meat selection with various sauces and spices. Thr staff were very helpful, friendly and professional and made good conversation with me . I felt very welcome. The food was beautifully cooked and seasoned.

I enjoyed my meal here, the food was tasty and had some heat to the spices which I liked. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The food was really delicious. It wasn’t rushed. A service was very good all in all. I really lovely restaurant to meet and have lunch.

The food was great as usual except for the chicken being a little overcooked. We were rushed out as we didn’t ask for the bill, it just appeared and then they wanted instant payment. We didn’t have chance to digest our food or to order an after dinner drink. We won’t go back on a weekend again.

I had a lovely lunch and the menu has plenty of choice to tempt you. The food is always good and the service is pleasant. The location is ideal for travellers as it’s very central.

I took the opportunity to dining here again and was not let down. The food is great and I love the choices on the menu. The chicken tikka is always juicy and not dry so great with any sauce or on its own.

Had a nice meal of chicken tikka and nan bread. The dish was very tasty and there is lots of dishes to choose from on the menu.

Had an enjoyable meal and the food has a good balance of spices and he staff will help with any questions you might have on the dishes.

A lively setting in the heart of the city and an extensive menu with some interesting fish dish I may try on my next visit. Tonight I went a bit safe and had my usual butter chicken and it was really nice.

A lovely meal in pleasant surroundings. The staff are friendly and helpful to explain the dishes if required. I would recommend the chicken tikka if you like this dish.

This restaurant is in a good location with a warm inviting decor. The menu has plenty of choice and I really like the lamb dishes here. The meat has a subtle spice to it and really tender.

I had another nice meal here, it’s in a lively location for lunch or dinner. The menu has all the usual dishes and I went with the lamb rogan Josh and the lamb was really tender.

Food was good, service slick and professional. We were sat in the lower ground floor.

There is an extensive range of dishes which include a duck curry which did temp me but maybe next time as I was after a lamb dish and the Rohan Josh hit the mark. The lamb was super tender so it was a winner.
