Copper Lounge

This is one of my favourite local restaurants and I and my friends always recommend it to others. Wonderful, helpful staff and the food is always fantastic.

The food here is absolutely fab! We've been here twice and just love it. It's not your typical Indian food, instead, you can try a variety of different Indian street foods. I find the service is fine but doesn't quite match up to the food.

Had a fantastic meal as always. Great service and the food is excellent. Plenty of choice for everyone. Food can be cooked to own taste. Will definitely return again

Lovely staff and gorgeous food- highly recommend the Dahi Puri, Pani Puri & the naan bread is gorgeous!! really good prices, overall really nice had a great evening!

First time at the Copper Lounge but won’t be the last great food and great service even though it was a very busy night. Certainly not the normal Indian restaurant some really unusual dishes and great range of beers and wines

Food very good , service ok, they forgot drinks which were ordered and had a very ln* wait for an6 drinks to arrive. However, due the the delicious food, Would go again.

We started with 3 street foods, all of which were very good & different from the standard offerings in most other places. My husband and friend then had 'railway lamb curry', which was declared excellent and a definite improvement on several disappointing lamb dishes eaten previously elsewhere. I wanted something lighter and chose a fish curry, which was most enjoyable. The food was complemented by polite and attentive service.

Excellent food and service. Will be back soon with the fam. Reminds me of Chutney Marys in London which is at least double the price.

Brilliant restaurant, the food is really good street food, with lots of variety. Also serves local cast Ales. At times the service can be slow, but it’s worth the wait

Always the perfect amount of meat is served with the amount of sauce. I’ve never eaten it and left any sauce like I would do anywhere else! ‘Perfect portions, perfectly proportioned’ 😋

Could have done with more pompadoms and more rice. Starters very tasty and different to ones we have had been and main meals very good.

As usual, good food and good service from a friendly team. We are regulars here and always return time after time, unlike many restaurants we attend. Having worked in India this is one of the few places I would eat Indian food.

Food lovely & Service excellent. We booked on the last minute for 5.15 on Christmas Eve & really enjoyed our whole experience. Would go again.

Excellent food and service as always. I had the Railway lamb absolutely delicious. The portions are just the right size. Great value for money. Will be returning soon.

Excellent meal and service, we will definitely return. The main courses and starters were just fantastic, all rounded off with great desserts. Ambience also good, no overly glaring bright lights.

This was our second visit and whilst the food was very nice again. they forgot our main course which led to a 45 minute wait. Not the end of the world but first time visitors might not have been so impressed.

Excellent evening! Vikram, the owner was very hospitable and ensured we had the best time. He helped us choose the right dishes, specially got a couple of dishes made on our request and surprised my husband with a birthday cake and ice cream as a compliment! Staff were very efficient and food was super! Highly recommend this restaurant!! Best wishes to the enterprising team!!

Food great as always. Explanations and suggestions given when we asked for them. Service was attentive but not overbearing too. It's a regular haunt and we will be back.

We had a lovely tasty meal always tastes fresh and full of goodness. The restaurant was just a bit cold maybe it was because we sat near the window. We will definitely be going back. 😊

Fab food, great service and will definitely go again. I highly recommend the sharing sizzling starter and the Goan fish curry, simply delicious. Good value too.

The food was very basic and all tasted the same. I had high expectations and was very underwhelmed. Good customer service however who were very attentive.

First time we've been on a Sunday to try the Thali offering. As always we we not disappointed here with the food quality. Clearly backed up by a very busy restaurant. The only disappointment was the lack of staff which contributed to a long waiting time for meals for a good number of diners.

Absolutely fantastic. Lovely food, great service, great atmosphere and definatley somewhere we’ll be going to again really soon! Highly recommended to anybody in Stockport area!

Beautiful food. We went for lots of starters as a tapas style meal and the flavours were gorgeous. Just remember to check your bill as £50 of someone else’s drinks was accidentally added to ours!

We went early evening after booking online. Service was excellent, lovely friendly staff. Food was superb! Tasty fresh & hot. Good value would definitely go again.

This is a pleasant restaurant with a slightly different take on Indian food. They serve street food as well as more formal dishes and everything we had was good. Anyone used to fairly spicy food should go for 3 chilli dishes, or ask for others to be spiced up a bit. There are English beers as well as the usual lagers and the service was good. Nothing not to like.

Restaurant very busy - which was good to see, but it made service a bit slow. Great food - interesting menu ! Would certainly go again.

Great atmosphere, great selection of food choices, the food was excellent and the staff were very efficient and friendly. Definitely my first choice for Indian cuisine, for a sit down or takeaway.

The food was amazing so many different flavours. I have never tasted such wonderful starter dishes and only £4 per dish. I highly recommend to anyone who likes curry.

The food was fabulous with a wide range of authentic meals to choose from. Pleasant and efficent service, together with a lovely atmosphere made for a lovely evening.

Food was great, very tasty and plenty of vegetarian choices but service was a little chaotic due to being a popular Saturday night venue. Would visit the restaurant again.
