Really great little restaurant, fantastic food, great service, would certainly recommend it. The waitress was very attentive. The whole experience made our evening very good.

Nice little place. Lovely food friendly staff nothing too much trouble. I had the rack of lamb was delicious other half had lemon chicken sweets to die for had creme brulee and chocolate brownie

We enjoyed a lovely meal here to celebrate my Birthday. The service from Weronika was second to none and she made us feel very welcome. Restaurant is very small but intimate and a warm friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend the Pate, Ribeye and Lamb Fillet 🙂

good honest food & reasonable prices, drinks also reasonably priced, super attentive & friendly waiting staff, cosy atmosphere, be quick to book a table as the restaurant is small ish.

Fantastic food, lovely place, attentive and genuine staff. It was my first time at the Corner Grill House, and although I'monly visiting York, I will return at some time.

Food was great and the service was great! Being a small restaurant makes it so much nicer experience as staff can attend to you properly!

The food was absolutely amazing. I honestly couldnt fault it. The staff were very nice and also very attentive. I would recommend coming here definately.

Absolutely fabulous meal.my friends and I have never had such a delicious meal in a long time. A little gem of a restaurant. The waitress was brilliant and we met the chef and thank him for his meal. Great atmosphere.

Service was fantastic, our waitress was so lovely, she made the night. Food was tasty but nothing special and portions a little on the small side. Lovely ambience though.

Fantastic service great food and a cosy friendly atmosphere. As there are few tables you normally need to book but the Quango service shows availability and works efficiently.

Great find! Such a small restaurant but the food was all freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and the drinks were reasonable. I’m so glad we found this restaurant.

Good food, good ambiance, good service and well priced. The Corner House Grill is a small but welcoming venue, with friendly staff. While the menu is not extensive, there are good options and actually enough choices.

The food here is always good and the service is really friendly. This is such a lovely cosy restaurant which we always like to visit when we’re in York.

Lovely little restaurant food was well cooked and delicious and service excellent. We had sea bass which was great. Very good value and our waitress was very helpful and friendly.

Lovely little restaurant! The place was cosy and cute, the lady who served us was very friendly and welcoming and the food we ate was beautiful. Me and my partner both agreed that it was the best meal we’ve had together (excluding holidays) so I would 110% reccomend visiting!

Lovely food, great service & good prices. Only observation was that the stuffed pork was mainly bacon, very little pork in the middle which was a shame but lovely sauce.

We enjoyed our meal at the Corner House Grill. The choices on the menu was smaller that at some other establishments but suited us well, there were also specials available. The food was both well cooked and presented and was delivered with the right pace of service.The staff were friendly and attentive. I would certainly return when next in York.

Freshly cooked excellent quality food with a cosy atmosphere. The waitress who greeted us and served us throughout our stay was very professional and friendly and made us feel very welcome.

This is a lovely little restaurant,beautiful freshly cooked food and fixed price menu at £19 for 3 courses is exceptional value.The waitress is very friendly and helpful.They seem to get a lot of regulars who go back and when you've been you will know why!!

Good food, nice atmosphere, excellent, friendly service on this small and cosy restaurant. Tje menu has a nice range of options including nice vegetarian alternatives.

It's a small but cosy restaurant. We have visited twice and both times the meals and service were excellent. I would definitely recommend it to others. I am already looking forward to eating there again.

Had a fantastic meal here last night. The waitress was very efficient, attentive and friendly. Service was quick and the food was excellent. I would definitely return here should I visit York again. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic place, great food, highly recommend this little place, staff very helpful, just a shame the rose wine is not my favourite, but at least they now do have prosecco

Wonderful food and warm welcome! Great menu and love the fixed price menu. I wish we leaved nearer as we'd eat there all the time. Highly recommended!

The service was good. The food was also very good especially the sea bass. Excellent value for money. This restaurant is only small but don't let that put you off it's definitely worth a visit
