Amazing food - pleasant wine - great value - comfortable and intimate setting - relaxed and yet efficient service. Would definitely recommend and would certainly visit again.

Staff lovely and efficient. Table ready when we arrived. Food fantastic - tasty, hot, as described, good portions. Food arrived quickly. Reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere. The only thing I'd say, not as a negative but to manage expectations, the place is very small, 7 tables. It does create a feeling of camaraderie and kindness between guests though. We had a love time, it was my husband's birthday dinner and he loved every bit of it. Highly recommended.

Food was delicious, I had the ribeye steak and it was cooked to perfection and my boyfriend had the set menu which was really reasonably priced and tasted amazing; good portions too. Service was faultless. The waitress even put a candle on my sticky toffee pudding because she knew it was my birthday; she was really lovely. Really intimate setting but doesn't feel awkwardly small at all; really good atmosphere overall.

We both had the chicken pate and the rib eye steak. The steak was cooked to perfection. Chips were gorgeous too. I had the rocket and parmesan salad, would have liked a dressing on that. Service very good.

Lovely little restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff. Food delicious and very nice reasonably priced wine - we will certainly return. Mixed platter for starter was beautifully cooked. My main of duck was cooked perfectly and the lamb was also lovely. Although quite full we managed sticky toffee pudding for dessert and we were glad that we hadn't given it a miss - delicious end to a wonderful meal - thank you.

We had such a great birthday meal at the Corner Grill House. Fabulous food and a lovely ambience. Great service too with such a friendly waitress. Would definitely go again!

The service was prompt and friendly, the food was delightfully cooked and the wine. Very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend it for and intimate evening meal with a partner.

Restaurant situated close to town centre with metered & pay & display parking close by. Excellent food & service, warm & friendly atmosphere, surpassed our expectations. Would suggest booking in advance to avoid disappointment, highly recommended.

Went here due to TripAdvisor reviews and so glad we did! Would definitely return. Food was lovely and service was great. The girl who served us was taking care of all the diners and did it so well with a smile and always had time for a few words with everyone. Disappointed that I was too full to manage a dessert. Another reason to return!

Fantastic meal at the Corner Grill. Staff were super friendly and and the food was outstanding. I had the rack of lamb and the lady had the fillet beef. Superbly cooked and the sides were delicious too. I’d recommend booking as it’s only small, you won’t be disappointed!

Food was top quality, both mine and my husband dishes were something Jaime Oliver would be happy with 😊👍 Lovely quaint resterant. Staff freidndly. And a overall pleasant experience. Please book as it get busy and without a reservation you may get turned away.

Very small bistro however the food was excellent. Had to pay £15pp deposit which wasn’t a problem. The only issues I have is we were seated near the door and it was very cold every time the door opened. I would have thought also there would be some tealight candles on the tables Also it lacked any Christmas spirit with hardly any Christmas decorations .

We had booked a table for four at 8pm on a Thursday evening - just as well that we did as our reserved table was the only space left at that time. The quality of the food was very good & it was very reasonably priced. The service was excellent, lovely greeting on arrival & we were looked after throughout our meal. Highly recommended but make sure you book - there are only about 18 covers at this restaurant so it fills up very quickly!

Amazing food & atmosphere. Small but very friendly & welcoming. Enjoyed a beautiful breast of chicken in a wild mushroom sauce, absolute heaven. Would definitely recommend for a quiet dinner - staff were very helpful.

Very nice meal with interesting combinations of flavours. Reasonably priced wines. Service was friendly and efficient. Cosy atmosphere. Would definitely recommend without any hesitation. Dziekuje bardzo!

All staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I found the food very expensive for what we had. Had beef stew which tasted ok but was a very small portion. I am not a big eater but for £17 for the beef stew I would have expected either better tasting food or vegetables with the dish not just mash. I feel the meal was only worth about £7-£8. On the menu could have a choice of one potato and one vegetable. For similar restaurants would have got main with a potato dish and 2 or 3 veg. Even though the staff were nice I will not return and will not recommend to others sorry.

Cosy room, excellent friendly service, good varied but simple menu, lovely food. There were a couple there making a return visit so that is a good sign. Fully recommended.
