Service was great but food was a bit underwhelming. Probably because it was Valentine's Day so set menu - never good. But felt a bit random, lack of cohesion between the dishes and possibly overly fussy. I was most excited for some fresh Cornish produce - but if there was any it was buried in the dish, might have been better to have simpler dishes and let the ingredients speak for themselves.

Great set menu. Tee value is fantastic and really courteous staff. It got a bit loud due to a birthday party on another table as tree acoustics carry sound well but that's a minor quibble!

Food was great quality, if a little on the pricy side (£44 each for 3 courses and a large glass of wine each incl. service). If you're not big fans of kids avoid being seated in the back room at Sunday lunch - it turns into a bit of a nursery.

Delicious food as usual. Attention to detail and a friendly service, and very organised and efficient despite such a busy occasion on valentine's day. Very pleased.

Third time visiting and excellent food and service yet again. This time we tried the desserts and the rice pudding was an absolute dream. Servers always smiling.

Cocktails were great, service was very friendly and helpful, portions were a bit small, I'd get a side dish next time as well as the main, but food was tasty.

We were made to feel very welcome at the Cornish Tiger restaurant. The waiters/staff couldn't have been nicer - friendly and professional throughout the evening. However, the menu was, let's say, not to everyone's taste. Very unusual mix for each dish and that would be fine, if it had worked, but for some of us, it didn't in fact and the quality was pretty average. So, I wouldn't choose to return for the food itself, I'm afraid...

Absolutely great time! Lovely food and staff. Very much enjoyed the Asian/African influences to the menu. Good deal on the Prosecco for a Tuesday night out. Have already recommended to a friend.

We were able to have the set menu (available up to 7pm), which was excellent value. Three courses + bread and olives and two bottles of decent house wine came to £122 with service for four people. The food was superb. Great evening all round.

Great food, service & atmosphere. My one criticism is that there should be more than one veggie main course available. Having said that, the one I had was yummy!

Great food - something a little different plus quality ingredients - and good, accommodating service. They happily found us another table to escape a couple of noisy groups.

We just love this little restaurant. Always great food. Always great service. Best wine list on Battersea Rise, organic beer, gluten free options... This is the 'Cheers' restaurant where they remember your name!

Warm welcome, great olives! Friendly, efficient service. Quite a short menu, but good selection. Ditto for wine and cocktail list. Definitely book as it's quite small and very busy!

We went early and had the set menu which is a complete bargain for a restaurant like this and is about the same price as Cote's. The service is excellent, prompt and informal and the food is clever but simple and beautifully presented without being fussy.

The food was really poor, which was a shame as we'd been there before and it was quite nice. Huge peppercorns in every dish and generally cheap ingredients and average cooking at best

Good food especially the chocolate fondant. Lovely atmosphere and good service. Not the cheapest given they urge you to order sides to go with already fairly pricey mains.

It was pretty dead on a Saturday lunchtime, which was surprising. The waiting staff were friendly though. The Aubergine cannelloni was really tasty. Handy place to pop in to if you are on the north side of Clapham Common

Poor service. Staff unattentive to requests. We were showed to the last table in the back in spite of having reserved. The table was under a light bulb that was too bright and too hot. When we requested to dim the light the server said she could do nothing about it. We had to ask for the manager, who dimmed the light. The food acceptable value for money. But the overall experience very poor.

The Cornish Tiger provides excellent quality food, well prepared and incredible value for money. Service is always friendly and helpful. The wine list matches the menu well and offers a good balance of wines across price points. The menu offers a range of more traditional items along with the occasional novelty but most are interestingly flavoured with spices. Not over-powering but additive IMO. But if you don't like the spice, ask the kitchen to dial it down or cook it plain. You'll still enjoy it. Guaranteed.

Really interesting choice of food. Excellent service and well presented. Very reasonably priced. Just slightly disappointed with my main course the chicken tagine which was rather salty but the starter and dessert were fantastic.

Tasty food in nice surroundings in this local restaurant. We particularly enjoyed the soft shell crab starter and lamb dish for main. Service slightly slow but staff We're very pleasant.
