Excellent food and great value for money. Good service and very pleasant staff.

Above expectations. My party of 8 were delighted with my choice of restaurant.

The food at Cotes is always reliable and good value. I was sharing a starter with my friend and then the main course arrived without us finishing the starter. The food was put on the table regardless. I think this was wrong and the waiting staff could have held the food back a few more minutes. My main was hot so it started cooling down straight away. The rest of the service was fine and the food enjoyable. Stéphanie Wicks

I’ve dined in cote for many years. The best dinner I’ve had in a long time was in Barnes this evening. Top draw

I booked a special romantic dinnervdate and the staff could not have been nicer or more welcoming. The booth was just what we wsntedcand candles on the table. Wine was a lovely Syrah and the chips esp excellent. Received a warm welcome. The order was taken in a timely way and our meal arrived with no delay. We all enjoyed our food. The only downside, our waitress was very stern and not very friendly.

Our experience at Cote Barnes was made by the staff who were very friendly and attentive. A few mistakes were made with our order but they were very quick to correct them with no fuss.

The food was fine but the table was dirty and greasy; not what we are used to from this restaurant. The waiter was very pleasant but forgot our coffees/ tea and, yes, they turned up on the bill.

Brilliant spot ....great food and service! Great summer menu ....will be back!

Sitting outside overlooking Barnes pond was just a tonic. We enjoyed the food and service was good.

Just in time for the August menu as an early supper. Great value for two courses. Able to sit outside - a great treat with a view of the pond.

Lovely place to meet for lunch, view of the pond, great food at good price, friendly staff, good wine list. Used to think this branch was less good than others but it has settled down and upped its game to top standard.

As usual lovely service humour good food only down side allowing screaming children. Well the kids are ok but perhaps talk to the parents ;-)

Fabulous except within 3 minutes of ordering our meal it all arrived, so we didn’t have any time to enjoy our olives and glass of wine first.

We were a group of 10, which could have proved tricky. Our server was excellent and did an amazing job. Food was good as usual. Excellent menu choice. We will return.

Great as always. Went off the set menu. The only trying was a found the steak fries a little tough. Service though as usual was excellent and a good atmosphere.

Initial contact a bit slow, I was waiting for the rest of the party to arrive and was not asked if I wanted anything while waiting. The staff, however, are good-natured and hard-working.

Wonderful experience in a wonderful setting next to the village pond.

We were promised lobster this month. We got there by 6.45 we were told it was all gone! However, it was otherwise very good - but when this month will there be the promised lobster? Best Mike

I entertained a life-long friend and international photographer who is a Barnes resident to lunch at Cote, Barnes and we were not disappointed. The manager and staff were welcoming, polite and attentive. Great choice of a set lunch menus or a la carte. We went a la carte. The food was freshly cooked and the generous portions were too good to leave, but we both ate too much - washed down with a complimentary bottle of Sauvignon Blanc because I had signed up to the Cote newsletter. A nice touch. Lovely setting, too, in the sunshine and close to the greenery of the local pond. A perfect lunch.

A good evening. We were 12 in our table and the food as usual up to expectations. The service was beyond helpful. Efficient and with a huge smile. Well done Serena..

I do this every time I come here. The food is always enjoyable but it is the service and cheery staff that make it more memorable. Bravo Serena!
