Visited Cote Barnes on a Saturday evening, table for 6 at 9pm. From the start we were served by about 4 different waiters, bit chaotic & none of which really seemed to know what they were doing. Perhaps it was training night. I ordered rib eye steak, but pretty sure i was served a fillet steak instead. It came with a very limp looking pile of rocket & a small portion of (very nice) fries. They couldn’t do bernaise sauce for some reason. Overall, average visit with random service.

Once again a wonderful meal, Great food, great service and atmosphere. We especially like the monthly specials, lobster in July and last night we had the September Sole. Keep it up.

Every time l come here, l am never disappointed. The staff are very welcoming. We often bring friends here who are visiting Barnes, and we all love it. The food was delicious, l had the Sea bream and loved it. Great atmosphere, some times a bit noisy. Though very good service, waiters are very attentive. We all had a fabulous time. It was very easy to book on line and get a table.

Cote is fast becoming one of the most popular restaurants in Barnes. Lovely location overlooking the pond. Wide menu choice, great value and charming staff. What's not to like!

The food was very good as in every Côte restaurant, we’ve never been disappointed with the quality yet. However, we were slightly disappointed with the service. The staff was very friendly but seemed quite disorganised and slow. It took a long time to have our plates cleared and we waited far too long for our main courses even though it wasn’t too busy. We were offered a glass of complimentary wine at the end which was nice and showed that the staff tried to be accommodating. Good food, friendly service, but needs more efficiency!

Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere thanks to high ceilings, well-spaced tables and interior design that supports rather than dominates the restaurant space, putting customers and staff at the centre of the most important thing... the food!!

Wonderful 3-course meal with family and children in a friendly atmosphere. The air conditioning helped also as it was a very hot day today.

We live locally and know and like Cote as a chain, but had never been to the Barnes restaurant before. We had a really excellent experience: the friendly, professional and competent staff; a really varied and interesting menu really reflecting honest, genuine French cuisine; delicious flavours and very satisfying portions. All in all a wonderful evening and a great location. We will certainly be back - as soon as we can!

Excellent service, and. a delicious steak. Only comment was I was charged £2.10 for extra sauce. Did complain and the deducted From the bill and gave use free coffee!

Charming staff- friendly and helpful - kept our table even after several changes of time for the booking due to our delays in reaching the restaurant. Great food and such good value from their Prestige menu deals. Lovely location by the pond at Barnes.

Food as reliable as ever (tho steak a little less flavoursome and tender than wd hv liked). Staff helpful and friendly, manager not so much, a little surly.

As brilliant in every way as usual! A warm welcome on a cold rainy day just what we all 6 of us needed! Delicious lunch and excellent service in glorious location - and just down the road! Perfect - that’s Cote!

Consistently great - food, drink, service, value. You just can't beat Cote. Some branches are better than others and Barnes is excellent. I particularly appreciated the email offer of a complementary kir royale to mark my birthday. We dined early prior to going to the Olympic to see a film so inevitably there were families there, otherwise I'd have given 6* for atmosphere and noise level. But the staff were careful to guide us to a quieter area. We will return - and soon!

Joined the newsletter and received a free bottle of a decent Syrah. I am a vegetarian and the separate vegetarian/ vegan menu was very good indeed. In fact, so good my partner and I both ordered from it. The staff were splendid and very attentive, welcoming. Overall a really good experience. Noise level - children were in the restaurant. My suggestion to resolve any issues is all children under 12 years of age go in a separate area. I just don't want to hear your child when I am dining out!

Without doubt Cote in Barnes is first class. The food, hospitality and service is exceptional. As residents in this part of London we are extremely to have such a delightful restaurant on our doorstep. A very lovely evening again John B

I cant keep saying the same thing over but here it again - very good like the staff

All was very good, I had the full English and my only thought was that it would be better to leave the mushrooms off rather than serve the tinned ones. Just one big fresh one or none would be preferable. Many thanks Lynne Cox
