Very pleasant Mothers' Day lunch. Very busy restaurant but no long waits for food or drinks. Service excellent. Quite noisy, but nothing unexpected given it was packed and mothers' Day!

Delicious way to start the day having a scrumptious breakfast overlooking Barnes pond! Three of us made different choices and they were all lovely. The granola was particularly crunchy, fruity and creamy!

Very good service, good food and if one chooses a set menu every reasonably priced. Looking out on Barnes common the whole experience was delightful.

The sea bream was very dry and overcooked. Salmon was perfect. Restaurant was very busy and the service was slow. Experience was good but not perfect.

Cotes was nice. It very noisy with children, lots of customers complaining. Food was just ok, nothing very exciting. Best of the bunch in Barnes.

Lovely food, sometimes a bit late, but the staff are very helpful and friendly. The venue is convenient, beautifully situated on Barnes Pond. A pleasure to eat there.

We waited a long time (25 mins) to be served fior even out drinks when we sat down . Staff there are lovely and gave us our first round of drinks for free but it was way too long to wait for drinks and food . They are way, way too busy between 6-8.30 pm - and lots of children around - if they dont have a table they can serve effiiciently at 8pm then maybe they shouldnt take the booking ?

Very good food and nice atmosphere. Staff were very busy so we had to wait a while for our dinner but worth the wait when it arrived.

It was a lovely evening, delicious steak & staff were very helpful. The restaurant had obviously been very busy prior to our arrival, tables needed clearing & various items needed cleaning & replenishing in toilets.

Lovely position and view - it must be wonderful in the summer when you can sit outside. The service and food were excellent. We'll be sure to go again.

The waiting is efficient and friendly. The food is excellent and imaginative and the prices reasonable. It has a pleasant atmosphere which is greatly improved by the absence of muzak. Acoustically it is possible even for someone like me who is a bit hard of hearing to hear what his dining companion is saying. The view over Barnes Pond, if you are sitting on that side of the restaurant, is a bonus.

Great food, fabulous location. We went for lunch on Sunday and the restaurant had a busy atmosphere. I don’t mind if there’s a hiccup with the order, but exemplary customer service put it right and with it, plenty of compliments for cote. We go to cote for all of our birthdays

We took my parents for breakfast to celebrate my mother's 85th birthday. When our waitress heard that it was her birthday, she was greeted warmly with a hug and offered a Mimosa. The food and service were both top class as always. All round a very nice experience and good value for money.

The waiter was not very gracious when I asked for my steak to be well cooked. He knew best! I regularly visit different Côte restaurants and have never been argued with before. I did eventually get the steak I wanted

sourpuss waitress and slowest service - It cost me an extra 18 pounds babysitting - a 1 course and 1 coffee was a 3 hour experience - an expensive and not enjoyable experience
