What a lovely meal tonight. We were 6 friends meeting to celebrate my birthday with a meal before going to the theatre next door at the OSO, an you did us proud. We really enjoyed our complimentary Elderflower gin cocktails, the service was thoughtful and prompt, and the food delicious. Thank you.

Cote Barnes is in a beautiful location. It was first time for us here, we truly enjoyed, food was lovely so was the staff, really pleasant and welcome. We had July special Lobster and it was delicious so was Chateubrian steak and Pavlova. Definitely will come back there again.

Excellent dinner...lobster and veal. Great service particularly from the lovely Francesca. Always a great evening. And the place was packed. So pleased Cote is in Barnes!

We returned to Cote Barnes quite a while after our first visit. This was because we were not that impressed by the service the first time around. This time, however was completely different and it was 100% better; hence my 6 star billing. We were met with friendly staff who gave us the option of where to sit. We had the misfortune to have chosen seats where- within 5 minutes- the table next to us came in. It was a group of women with bags of shopping, which they spread everywhere and a number of unruly young children whom they didn't attempt to control. These children were loud, bashed into our table and generally invaded our space. The staff observed this and acted immediately. They asked if we would like to move to a more peaceful area. We eventually did this and were very well looked after by all the staff. They were kind, courteous and considerate of our daughter's special needs as well.They could not have done more to resolve this issue, and handled it with speed and efficiency. The food was excellent- we all loved our choices- and were served a short time after ordering. We will definitely return as it was a very happy, pleasant experience. Both staff and food were top notch. Thank you

The waitress and manager were superb. I actually mentioned to both of them how impressed we were with the service. Food was cooked to preference and the whole experience was extremely enjoyable.

Our first waitress was too pushy and didn’t give off a welcoming experience. When the manager came service improved, yet other waiters showed little competence when serving food along with basic manners. When it came to waiting times, these were rather quick, in fact so rapid that the lack of freshness was reflected in the taste and warmth of the food.

We arrived on time, then waited ten minutes for anyone to greet us, with staff walking past as if we weren’t there. Finally a woman came over and took my name and showed us to the table. No apologies for the wait. We ordered and the very friendly waiter took our drinks and the food orders. The starters were fine (squid and Breton tomatoes) but my main course (steak) was undercooked, I ordered medium rare and got very rare. The meat was tough. My partner ordered salmon which was over cooked! The table behind us had dirty plates glasses etc which, over a period of almost two hours were never cleared. I think for £100+ including wine, this really is not good enough.

We visited at a busy time on a Sunday evening, so waiting time to be served just a little bit longer than usual, but the food was superb, waiting staff helpful and efficient. We all had different dishes, which were all delicious. The set menu is very good value for money.

I’m a regular visitor to Cote restaurants and it was a delight to visit the Barnes one, it’s very large and ideal for large gatherings. The location is Lovely set of Barnes Green with the pond nearby. The food is consistently good and a great variety to choose from. The staff always friendly and helpful. What more could you ask. Bravo

Cote Barnes need a new chef. My mother and I normally go to Côte Teddington but as Barnes is new and near where I live we thought we’d try it. What a disappointment! The serving staff were lovely. No complaints they couldn’t do enough. My mother and I both chose dishes we had recently had at Teddington. The half chicken my mother had was dry and looked reheated and the fries were oily and not crisp. My chicken - a weekend special was fine but the potatoes were definitely reheated and fry and wrinkled on top as were the beans. Cote’s creme caramel which is their signature dessert, was dreadful as they had burnt the caramel which was nearly black in colour and bitter in taste. We will not be returning. This is a great let down.

Varied menu with really delicious food (much better than some of local pubs)- and also excellent value. Beautiful location overlooking pond and lovely sunny ambience inside.

A lovely evening at an outside table overlooking Barnes pond. We both had excellent dishes from Light Bites menu and a super lemon tart all with great service.

Excellent welcome and celiac granddaughter loved the gluten free food.

The wrong order was brought for my friend and I had more or less finished my meal by the time she was served. The meal was sent back as it looked like someone else's leftovers! We ordered desserts and my friend found a hair which turned out to be from a pastry brush in her apple tart-she had to leave the rest! The staff only charged us for our wine and one dessert which was fair but by this time our evening was rather spoiled. We were given a voucher for our next visit for a cocktail or something?

Service. It as good as we have come to expect from other Cotes

It's always wonderful. Great chef as our meals were wonderful. Good value for money too. So lucky to have such a gem on my doorstep.

I'm glad to discover Cote in our area. I've lunched there a few times and like it very much. The food is good - the caramel custard I had today was perfect. I wish I could cook it like that.
