Always good food and friendly service to be had at Cote Barnes.

As ever most attentive and a very pleasant experience. Very busy when there so had to wait for meal but that was not an issue.

As always great service from initial greeting and all the staff. We increased table from 2 to 3 to 5 people with seemingly no problem. All chose something different and everyone enjoyed. Thanks! See you again soon.

Good food if you choose the right dishes - we had Chicken Breton (3) and grilled salmon. Good service good atmosphere (no piped music thank goodness)

This is the 4/5th time we have been to Cote in various locations and it's always a wonderful experience. All of the staff were lovely and really made my partner feel special on her birthday so I can't thank you enough for that. They really did go above and beyond with singing her happy birthday with candles all unprompted which was a really nice touch. The food was lovely, well presented and tested delicious! It's a shame we weren't able to tip the staff more than the 12.5% service charge using a debit card as neither of us had any cash with us. Thank you again, we will definitely be back.

Brilliant Barnes is the best Cote in London in my opinion.

As always the food and service were excellent and y good value. The liver pate starter was attractively presented but not of the best quality.

Food was good as always at a reasonable price. Would suggest having a sign on back fire exit door to stop people (children) running in and out every 5 minutes as it makes the room very cold quickly and not very pleasent.

Thoroughly good value. The sweets were particularly good! Will definitely be coming back.

Noise level were fine as the restaurant was not full. When full it can be very difficult to hear a fellow diner as there is little, other than people to absorb the sound.

the food was a good standard and the staff as friendly as ever - in particular the manageress is outstanding. She runs the entire operation seamlessly.

The staff very kindly, with no encouragement, added a great festive spirit to my husband’s birthday by adding a candle to his desert, and singing Happy Birthday. Much appreciated.

Superb service characterised by excellent management, and lovely food at a reasonable price. Very happy ambience. Only criticism: chicken undercooked so joints pink. This is dangerous (salmonella).

I only wish that children could be less noisy - maybe it's the parenting ! Love going as I know the experience will be good and have pleasure in taking family and friends there

Very sadly we were disappointed as what we wanted to eat was unavailable. Both the lamb and the ballotine from the January specials were off the menu. This was at 8pm mid week. It would seem that whoever does the ordering for the kitchens didn’t get it right . My husband’s beef stroganoff was very tough. The food we had was ok but not up to your normal standards.

Completely wonderful great food fantastic service by Thomas Serena who seem to be managing was totally on form and made us feel very welcome.

The best value for money neighbourhood restaurant in Barnes. Never compromises quality for keeping price low and always offering excellent service. Highly recommended.

Wonderful food and such a happy kind manager , we had the dinner deal

The discounted lunchtime menu was varied and interesting. The fish in the haddock goujons was nice but the batter was tasteless, sadly. For some reason the main course took a long time arriving but the waitress was very good at keeping us informed, and we were given complimentary coffee because of the delay.

I thought the service was excellent. Despite not getting the changes to our main course quite right, the waiter was friendly, and worked hard to accommodate us. The food was pretty average which let it down a bit. However, it's a nice restaurant to visit, and conveniently located.

Love pork roulettes fat was very buttery Parsnip soup was souper!!! French cottage pie was good but it's not a dish I'd have again at cote it's too English and a bit average beef quality was good however Chicken with Sarladaise Potatoes was excellent however chicken was slightly cold potatoes gravy and dijonaise was super Staff pleasant and friendly
