Lovely food, friendly and welcoming staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and plan to return.

Loved the position on the pond and the very kind care of the elderly lady I accompanied. Delicious salmon and smoked haddock fish cake (though it could have been hotter) and the creme caramel

This Large Cote restaurant is set in beautiful Barnes close to the pond and is always great to dine, the staff are friendly and attentive, food is super and value for money..

As ever I find Cote is one of the best restaurants in Barnes - no kidding

6 of us had lovely time at Cote last night. All enjoyed variety of starters, mains and puddings. And one of us, gluten free, had good choice of special menu.

The fish stew was not good. Not fresh. Was it from the freezer. All meat dishes and starters good.

Whilst we literally like the venue, ambience and friendly staff, we get really annoyed by the size of the side dishes. They are simply too small and too expensive for the amount given in each dish. We have now stopped ordering any sides. We are not buying a starter in place we are simply having the main course and whatever comes with it, the same goes for the fries, you can almost count the number of fries on one hand. Come on guys, potatoes are cheap !!. We have seen the portion sizes decrease a lot over the last two years and we always thought of Cote as being good value and have been fans for many yearsThis is clearly no longer the case and we will be looking at other local restaurants in the future. Unless of course someone actually reads these reviews and does something about it. Many thanks

Good as always. Ordered my usual of the steak frites. Wife had the salmon. Tasty. Service was a little too quick this time. Barely had time to take a sip of my aperitif when the main turned up. Great location for a cold winters night.

After I made a very small complaint (about fougasse being a little too crispy and the lamb rillettes not being quite up to muster ) I was delighted to find that Cote took this very seriously and dealt with it. Is this, as I suspect, unusual in restaurants? I must say the staff are great goodness knows where Cote gets them from - the latest addition being Vicktor, and the more long standing and charming Lucy.

Good food, excellent value, lovely staff; special mention for (Manageress?) Lucy who ensures everything is right. Not a one-off - as regulars it's always as good as this.

Slightly rushed ordered drinks of the month then waited to order food, starter turned up before drinks!! had to wait for water then cocktails turned up, manager apologised saying we’re very busy, but food very good fresh delivered hot then a comfortable meal time

Very happy to have this place a minute's walk from our home. The staff are always friendly - so nice to see the same faces month after month and have a catch-up with them. Extra bonus if Lucy's front of house - always starts the evening with a quick chat and smile. We chose well - scallops followed by the mushroom/camembert/walnut ravioli and, as ever, a cheeky creme caramel to share. Everything just so. And having the waitress remind us we were due an online discount was the metaphorical cherry on the cake.

My first time here , been to other Côte , so far Cote brasserie barnes is the best

Been to many locations, but this one is mediocre - food & service needs improvement. As much as Valentines Day is a busy time, you’d think the chefs could nail down the small set menu. Wimbledon location reigns supreme - unfortunate, as I’m a Barnes resident.

I have always given Cote top marks for everything but this time being Monday 10th February there must have been a different chef on because the food was all slightly over done - the fougass too toasted, the toasted items and the duck overdone. The lamb rillettes starter was inedible. Such a shame and the FIRST TIME this has ever happened. I am still going though because on the whole it is extremely good

We love cote - great relaxed dining - staff great - natural - sense of humour - staff make it great They where brilliant. Too much garlic ( in the spare room ) on week night Barnes had a nice feel 6.00pm is the way forward to have early dinner

I have been to many Cote restaurants and never once been disappointed. The food is always delicious, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The staff are always courteous and helpful and the prices, very reasonable. All in all, a first class dining experience. Thank you.

I booked because I received an email saying that as it was my birthday I would receive a complimentary Kir Royal with my meal. How lovely I thought. But no, there is always a catch 🤔 I had to order from the A La Carte menu in order to qualify. So, just another way of enticing customers in & then disappointing them.

Delicious food, attentive staff, speedy service and great surroundings. Only one mistake was that one of our party rang in early on the day of our booking, to say that he was ill and couldn’t come, but his food was still served, which probably meant that someone hadn’t passed on the message.

Thank you for a fantastic experience from an exceptional team at Côte, Barnes. We were completely bowled over by how far every detail was so incredibly well accommodated. We couldn’t have asked for more! Thank you George & Lucy for your personal care and attention.

The food is consistently to a good standard as is the service provided by the wait staff. Value for money is on point.

Lovely orange martini - best way to enjoy a Saturday lunchtime!

Nice location but lacked atmosphere. The food was a mix bunch. I had the rib-eye steak and that was good but my husband had the mushroom risotto and that was very claggy!! The one think which is always delicious is the 'Crème Caramel'.... for me it is one of the best in London!!!
