Fabulous location by Barnes Pond. Great service from the staff & really lovely meals enjoyed by us all. Happy all round celebrating a birthday over a long lunch.

A very pleasant dining experience!! Food excellent. Service slick, but always charming. It was a very busy dining room so rather deafening, but no problem!

Very good food though we did eat a la carte as opposed to menu offers which looked a bit boring. Not impressed however with very slow service. Had to ask 3 times if we could order deserts and wait again to pay the bill. Restaurant not that full. Staff seemed to spend a lot of time chatting to each other.

Food and service were great. Crab starter and the sea bass were delicious and the steak was good quality. Restaurant was noisey...please do more sound proofing.

Another good hearty meal at Côte Barnes. Excellent service, friendly staff. Prix fixe menu represents excellent value for money. The fact that their open till late is very useful.

Enjoyed last visit to Cotes - good food and service excellent sorting a problem with our wine without question. Great improvement on my last visit!

This was my first visit to Cote Barnes and I was very disappointed with the ambience there. It feels more like an up market cafe and not what I have come to expect from Cote. The service was mediocre as was the food. I won’t be going back to this Cote.

Baby friendly, good atmosphere and good food. Staff were friendly and offered great service. Would definitely recommend going there for lunch with it's lovely view of the pond

A most enjoyable evening with excellent food and discreet attentive service. We chose different dishes and each one was enjoyed by the recipient - all perfect.

My friend and I had a lovely lunch, served by a delightful girl, called Lizzie. The food was delicious. I had the roasted Breton chicken which was perfectly cooked. Credit to the chefs. My friend enjoyed her chicken caesar salad. We both had creme caramel, which was very good too. All the staff are helpful and efficient. We certainly enjoyed it all. All credit to the manager on duty. Again, a very helpful guy.

This was a birthday lunch for my sister-in-law. For an extremely modest price we had a delicious 2 course lunch in bright and spacious surroundings. Our birthday girl receievd a Kir Royal on the house and the creme caramel arrived with a single candle adorning it. All 3 of us chose that same sweet that was the perfect balance between the characteristic dark, sharper taste and a sweeter touch in the sauce. All the main courses arrived hot, the sea bream, chicken and parmentier shepherd's pie and all were delicious. Service was exemplary. House white wine was a perfect compliment. Congratulations.

It was my first visit to Cote Barnes and I must say I was impressed, nice restaurant and very friendly staff. The food was good as always. Will definitely be back.

The restaurant were very flexible that we were late due to flooding and heavy rain Our meal was served by a trainee who o did very well The meal can always be relied on for a consistently good standard Well done

Food good. You can always be certain that whatever you choose it will be of a good standard. Staff attentive. At times a little too attentive. Overall l would recommend.

Very good service from moment of entry. Staff were all friendly and attentive. Food was quite nice. We were given a nice quiet table by the windows. This restaurant has a very nice view during daylight hours as it is next to Barnes pond.

A very comprehensive menu or, rather, menus, a reasonable wine list, both in choice and price, pleasant and helpful staff, and a delightful venue. We shall certainly return.

Very lovely meal - booked with the Quandoo offer and we had great service throughout. Food was very tasty and fresh, salmon was slightly overcooked but didn't detract. Will be visiting again!

The Restaurant is situated close to Barnes Pond , in a lovely part of the Area . It is light & welcoming . The Staff were very helpful . Food , as always delicious ! We will certainly visit again soon !

Best meal I’ve had there. Starter endive salad lovely perfect. The steak just right and I do not usually eat it. The caramel was as one would expect Staff very good, attentive and friendly Only downside children running round so distracting and boring wish we could train children to behave in a shared space

I love the new branch in Barnes. A very interesting old building situated by Barnes Pond! Worth going just to see the area and the building. Décor inside is great. Anyway.... as usual always good. Friendly service good food at reasonable price... Winter menu is good heart warming comfort food... I went off the fixed price menu as always and cant ever go wrong... Steak for me as always ... cooked exactly how I like. Cassoulet for the wife... Anyway well fed.. happy and joyful. C U soon Cote !

Food as good as other Cotes I visit often Monday night so quiet, too noisy gushy in your face waitress. Probably better than the opposite.

The Steak Tartar was the best I have had in a very long time. The rump of lamb was also exceptional. Service excellent and good value for money.

Food very good. The manager and staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Will definitely dine there again. The set menu is excellent value for money.

We have been to the restaurant a few times and have had good meals, but this time one of the meals was cold which was a shame.

As always the staff were helpful and charming, the food excellent and well priced. In comparison with some other branches of 'Cote' the Barnes one is light and airy, and not decorated as unimaginatively and dully as some of them.

Food is barely average, like a Chef and Brewer or JD Wetherspoon but the prices are central London. The space is big and room enough for kids and prams

Very pleasant food in comfortable surroundings and good slick service. Good value too for the quality. A small point but my vegetarian guest would have liked to see alternatives to soya milk eg Oat milk etc for her coffee

The food was interesting and nicely presented, the staff were efficient and friendly. It was a great place for lunch on Sunday and I wold certainly go again

First time in this Cote and it did n't disappoint, except one of us wanted Creme Caramel which was on the special menu, but it was n't available, but apart from that it was all very good. I look forward to returning, as my two fellow diners live quite closeby.

This restaurant was great for my grandson’s birthday and I would recommend it to my friends. When we ordered pudding, the waiters sang happy birthday to my grandson while serving the pudding with a candle. The food was good with excellent french fries served on the side. Overall I would come again to Cote.

Very pleasant, attentive service on a particularly busy (Friday) night. Main dishes arrived lukewarm.. Were promptly replaced and no charge was made for our bottle of wine. Quality of food and wine was very good. Will definitely return.

We had a Friday friends lunch from the set menu. Absolutely delicious, amazing value and great service. The hake was particuarly good and perfect seasonal fayre.Thank you.

A Pleasant Venue for a Birthday Lunch. We were a party of 7 and were given a good area to sit in overlooking Barnes Pond.

I had an upset stomach from the soup after the lunch. Ambience is very nice, beautiful setting. Staff not overly attentive. Overall it was disappointing

Poor service. Not at all well managed and the staff were uninterested in looking after customers. They even tried to over charge for more wine than we had. The manager needs to get a grip!

Very poor service today and was told by waitresd that they were busy! Each course i had to ask them to take it away when finished - not good enough.

Food was good but service was shocking. We order 3 starters and only received one. 45 mn went by and when we asked the waitress she told us they were coming. 10mn later we got some of our main courses and when asked about the started the waitress just said “oh. Terribly sorry”. And that was it. Like it was not a big deal. The restaurant was not full but everytime we asked a staff member for something they were quite rude and we had to ask 3times for the dessert menus. Finally decided not to bother. Such a shame - have frequented many Cotes and love the food but at Barnes there seems to be some major challenges with staff and kitchen. Very disappointing.

Staff were very welcoming, charming and attentive. The food was tasty, plentiful and excellent value for money. This was our first visit to the relatively new Barnes restaurant and we enjoyed its spacious environment. We’ll be back!

Steak was cooked more than I asked for but other than that it was a very nice meal and evening. The service was good and friendly without being too intrusive.
