Such really wonderful service and smiling waiters good food as ever and a most enjoyable evening The only downside I think the fries that come with the lobster are smaller than the fries are used to come !!!!

It was actually the first time my family went out for a restaurant dinner since the Lockdown. Great experience and Food! Also nice to see that all employees were wearing face shields and that there were several hand sanitizers. Thank you very much!

Nice selection on the menu, although it would be nice to have the carrots back on the menu. Very friendly staff and great customer service.

All good other than the tables are old And feel sticky as the lacquer is coming off A sticky table in a Covid world is not acceptable- through them out !

Always great food and caters for children so well whilst still keeping adults happy without resorting to the usual tomato pasta etc, would be great to have even more adult style dishes available for kids - so glad you are back open again!!

Welcome back! The Eat Out to Help Out made it even nicer. It is difficult to hear the staff behind their masks.

We were warmly welcomed by a very efficient manager. She responded to my email request to be seated in the pond end of the restaurant and even though we had to wait for our table she was very engaging throughout. All the staff were highly diligent in their various roles. The food was amazing. Our party of 6 couldn’t fault our experience. We will certainly return. Thank you Cote Barnes.

It was great to return to Côte Barnes and see the usual staff back at work under the direction of Lucy. Once again the food was excellent as was the service. Great to hear that you’re continuing Côte at Home, which we have used during lockdown and will continue to do so.

Very Poor experience overall , started badly as we didn’t get the table we clearly requested when we booked via email ( we asked for a table on the side of the restaurant , by the pond ) we clearly made the request but it was totally ignored , when I pointed it out we were told that it wasn’t possible however there were free tables on that side as we came in and talked to the manager , I even pointed out at the free table but no , we were seated elsewhere The lady in charge told us that we could move soon once some other tables by the side cleared , however that didn’t happen , again I did see empty tables there but nobody offered us to move again . To follow we were ignored by the front of house and a table of two that came after us got to order , and eat , before we did ! The food was completely bland , I had a burger which was simply not good enough , and my wife the lobster which at nearly £30 was nowhere near as good as you would expect I appreciate the fact that it was busy but the service and Especially the welcome we got wasn’t good enough Last , I ordered a glass of house rose but was charged for the more expensive one , I did point it out when the bill came but the lady made me feel like it was my mistake , when clearly Wasn’t as I actually pointed out with my finger on the wine menu the one I wanted to the server , it was only a £2 difference but that’s not the point as I should have been charged for the one I ordered , the lady offered i refund , after I paid , which was slightly embarrassing in front of my family Overall not good at all

As usual Cote Barnes provided an excellent brunch. Staff all very attentive and professional. Food excellent and service excellent. The restaurant was very busy in the first week of reopening post COVID 19 lockdown hence not 6 stars overall as there were probably a few too many customers than we would have preferred given the current situation. Otherwise a perfect lunch.

A most enjoyable lunch with great service and food and drinks

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Côte Barnes on its opening day, and were pleased to see how busy it was. The tables were sensibly spaced and the staff welcoming despite their face shields, so we felt quite relaxed. The food was delicious (seabream and pork belly for mains, chocolate mousse and crême caramel to follow). And when I left the restaurant without my bag, someone rushed into the street after us to return it, so thank you especially to the waiter concerned !

Genuinely delighted to have Côte reopen here in Barnes. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and the food was spot on. We will see you soon.

Excellent in all respects save ,for the 1st time ever, the creme brûlée was not up to the normal Cote standard. Staff as usual very helpful

Very enjoyable evening, wonderful friendly efficient attentive staff. Noticed a kindly waitress helping an elderly gentleman with his coat on his chair. Food was very well seasoned and served quickly. Service was not intrusive. Have always rated Cote for its food and welcoming staff and the Barnes restaurant is an excellent example of good food at a reasonable price. Jeanette Sanders

Staff, service, food, special menu all excellent. We are never disappointed and imagine we won't ever be. The restaurant was packed today and we were still served with a smile, without having to wait for anything and everybody around us looked as happy. Côte, you are wonderful.

Almost perfect service except forgot bread starter so came with meal but then discounted from bill with apology. No chasing to leave table when finished meal although quite busy

Salad Nicoise was sadly lacking in anchovies. Maybe offer them? The new potatoes were seriously undercooked, Hard and tasteless, otherwise great . Staff always helpful and nice..

My parents and I have been going to this branch since it opened. The food tonight was as ever up to standard. The attention the staff gave to my elderly parents was fantastic. They are always so attentive to their needs. When I go there with my parents I can relax, as I know we are in good hands.

Pleasant interlude in a busy day: vegetarian breakfast for two served quickly after ordering, well presented and delicious. The only downside was a well-meaning but over-anxious waiter who frequently needed to ask whether the food was OK.

We had a delightful meal. The service was excellent and meals delicious. We particularly enjoyed the moules marineres. Our only criticism wad that seabass was overcooked.
