Good food and an enjoyable night out. Service was very good.
Had a fantastic family / birthday dinner with great food and fantastic service! This is a lovely place you would like to visit over and over again!
Lovely atmosphere, very spacious, great food and amazing service. Very professional and friendly staff. The goats cheese salad with walnuts and apple was delicious and the sea bass with fennel absolutely fantastic!
Amazing food, lovely staff, love they serve breakfast until 1pm on the weekend!
First class service and first class cuisine; well done to the whole team at Côte Barnes, it was a genuine pleasure to dine there tonight - 5 Stars across the board.
We had a free bottle of Sauvignon Blanc as we had signed up to the newsletter - not good and we’ve had bad headaches during the night and morning. Do you have organic wines in future?
What a lovely neighbourly evening! Food was exactly right - lamb rump cooked just how I like it, brilliant table and excellent service. Just right for a Friday night after a long weeek......
An excellent early bird menu. Great for families- the steak frites were superb. Reasonably priced too and good portion size. Lovely ambience, decor and service. Just what is needed in the area.
Barnes has a great view over the park. Eat and watch the crowds walk by. Staff are friendly and attentive and food always great there
The food is good but usually I barely find on the plate all the ingredients mentioned in the recipe. Like it would say it has olives or potatoes or croutons or anything else in the mix would be lucky to find more than 2 in some cases.
Pleasant interlude in a busy day: vegetarian breakfast for two served quickly after ordering, well presented and delicious. The only downside was a well-meaning but over-anxious waiter who frequently needed to ask whether the food was OK.
An excellent meal, good service and lovely surroundings. Many thanks.
Great food and service in lovely setting, had requested table overlooking pond which we were given. One of us had early eve set menu and the other the prestige set menu. We were both happy with food which was excellent.
We had a delightful meal. The service was excellent and meals delicious. We particularly enjoyed the moules marineres. Our only criticism wad that seabass was overcooked.
We lunched at Côte Barnes as a family of four. Difficult to say anything negative. The food, from the Prestige set menu, was lovely - I had French onion soup, sea bass and Coupe Noire - and very good value for money. The waiter was charming, and the view over Barnes duck pond glorious. Throw in some olives, bread and drinks for £106, and it was a very pleasant way to spend a Friday lunchtime. I have been to other Cotes and been less impressed, but this was everything I hoped for, and more.
The venue is lovely The staff were too attentive as it was quiet so we felt rushed and pressured to order quickly. The waiter forgot our sides twice Thanks
Booked a table for 6 in our local branch, on this visit it was the worst! Awful service, food was not cooked to the usual standard, the staff were not attentive whatsover. Very dissappointed with the fact we waited 15 minutes ( as our table was not ready) at a dirty table without an offer of an order for drinks etc. The waitress was miserable and could not have been any less attentive, one of our starters was forgotten, not once were we asked for a drinks order or how everything was since we were seated. It took 2 hours and 15 minutes for a starter and main... half an hour of sitting infront of our dirty plates. We wanted the delicious choclate mousse, however we coulnt wait to get out quick enough( and that thought was from experience as we were not given a dessert menu!), before our exit we spoke with a member of staff who did take off some of our bill as a gesture, however it did not make up for the fact of diabolical service, bad standard of cooked food and the complete lack of attention when we had our table booked well in advance! Such a shame for us as regular customers to be treated in this manner, I have had better treatment in Mcdonalds
Fabulous view of Barnes Pond and absolutely delicious lunch beautifully served. Great value and we’re so lucky to have this smashing local eatery.
Great staff and a really high quality and well priced March specials menu. Pork tenderloin was especially good. For the price it is the best restaurant in Barnes.
Excellent setting, service and cooking, I had the set three course menu, would visit again if I was in that area, worth a detour as they say,
Excellent dinner as always. Best restaurant in Barnes! Whether Mother’s Day Brunch or dinner with friends Cote is the go to place. Food was delicious, and the new Spring menu full of appetising dishes.
The steak was way too undercooked, practically mooing in the middle. There were hard globs of risotto which had obviously microwaved and the courses came out way too fast. I get you want to make the most out of Valentine’s Day, but it shouldn’t be at the expense of repeat visits.
Another great experience. Food excellent again. Received our Kir royales on cue which were on email offer. Attentive service. A Candle on the creme caramel to recognize my mums birthday would have been the icing on the cake. Oh well. Probably the best Cote layout that we have been to and there have been a few. I marvel at the consistency of food experience. Nice job.
Had a lovely meal in this light and airy restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful and didn’t rush us. Had a great evening with friends. We will be going back soon.
Everything perfect, food delicious, service friendly and menu very varied and really good value. Location of restaurant very picturesque and lovely to be able to sit outside. Will return.
Friendly helpful staff . Barnes Cote is a nice venue. The food is typical Brasserie style, well presented. We finished with a Crepe Grand Marnier which was excellent.
Excellent experience as always, great service, great food, friendly, professional service, great atmosphere. Very enjoyable, great location, nice layout, will return, highly recommended. Ten out of ten.
I liked the place very much, good location, friendly, professional staff, delicious food. Highly recommended.
The April lunch time set menu was very well planned with excellent choices. The quality of all the dishes were tasty, easily could have been coming from a 'named' Chef kitchen and not from a brasserie chain. Friendly service, specially from our waiter taking the orders, called Istvan.
Cote Barnes need a new chef. My mother and I normally go to Côte Teddington but as Barnes is new and near where I live we thought we’d try it. What a disappointment! The serving staff were lovely. No complaints they couldn’t do enough. My mother and I both chose dishes we had recently had at Teddington. The half chicken my mother had was dry and looked reheated and the fries were oily and not crisp. My chicken - a weekend special was fine but the potatoes were definitely reheated and fry and wrinkled on top as were the beans. Cote’s creme caramel which is their signature dessert, was dreadful as they had burnt the caramel which was nearly black in colour and bitter in taste. We will not be returning. This is a great let down.
What a lovely meal - and with excellent staff. From the first time we entered the restaurant until we left 2 hours later we had a great experience. A very enjoyable Mother's Day Lunch. Thank you :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
The waitress was so lovely! My father’s birthday they gave us a cake. It was great thanks so much!
Excellent in all respects save ,for the 1st time ever, the creme brûlée was not up to the normal Cote standard. Staff as usual very helpful
Lunch with small children was a relaxed and fun experience thanks to friendly staff and efficient service. Everyone enjoyed their lunch.
We had a lovely meal, just a shame where we were first seated by the kitchen door when the trays of food came out my husband got frites on him from a bowl that tipped over on the tray. We asked to be moved and we were but the waiter service wasn’t great as when we asked for condiments they didn’t arrive and asked another waiter also when we asked the same wait for boiled water for coffee he forgot that too and the second one got it straight away again as he did with the condiments
This is excellent value for money and the restaurant is a warm and welcoming venue. The pre 7pm menu is worth coming early for and it's a great addition to Barnes
The staff were friendly and attentive, never pushy but always there when you needed them, the food was very nice and well presented, a very enjoyable lunch.
I happened to mention it was my husband's birthday when booking - what a treat! We have been thoroughly spoilt today and his birthday has been made so special not only by the super food but by the extra super service. Many thanks! First Class experience!!
Great menu with .lots of choice, friendly staff and cosy atmosphere. We went early Friday evening before going on somewhere else and it was perfect. We will definitely return.
Lovely early birthday celebration- George the manager always makes me feel like ‘family’. Delicious dinner. Good atmosphere and just a great evening. Lovely service.thank you 10/10
Cote is such good value, especially before 7pm. The food is delicious. I went with 5 friends, and we all enjoyed the food. The wine we ordered was not quite chilled enough so we all got a glass of wine on the house while it was chilling. The staff there are amazing and really welcome you. there is no pressure to leave so we were there for two and a half hours enjoying the ambience
Excellent meal and service. Would recommend Cote for lunch or dimmer.
Good food and efficient friendly service accompanied by a lovely view over the pond. Overall a great experience. We really enjoyed brunch. Thank you! We’ll be back.
It was all very good, I love going there. Food lovely, service very good. It was a bit too noisy but it was very busy (Mother day).
Excellent restaurant and great value serving wonderful food at realistic prices. That's why it's always busy. Great chef and friendly waiting staff. Sometimes when it's busy with families it can get a bit noisy but good food makes up for this. A real gem in Barnes.
Excellent . Staff were very friendly and attentive - I had two small children with me and they provided drinks quickly and crayons etc. Very few people in the restaurant so limited atmosphere - one other group had children who were noisy
Lovely service with a complicated order. Very patient and helpful waitress.
Excellent food and excellent service. Highly recommended and we will be back again.
Wonderful Mother's Day - thank you! Fabulous food - service first rate as usual despite all your business today - and brilliant cocktail St Germain. Thoroughly recommend it!
AS usual, Cote provided a great Brasserie lunch. Good food and great atmosphere. Cote Barnes has a really nice view over the green and pond.
