Côte Liverpool

Food good service good but one thing completely spoiled our experience. We had ordered 3 christmas menus and one from the a la carte and when we tried to order more wine whilst waiting for our desserts were informed that we couldn't as alcohol could only be served with the main meal which seemed ridiculous. We checked the government website which states that alcohol may only be served with a substantial meal which is what we had. We queried this with the staff and were told that they were only following guidelines clearly not government ones. If Cote wants this to be their rule then people should be made aware of this when ordering not later. It spoilt what was otherwise a pleasant afternoon.

Excellent and exactly as always expected. Cote is our “go to” for consistent, quality menu and relaxed but attentive service.

Wonderful meal and ambience at Cote Liverpool. Warm and cozy atmosphere. Fantastic gin cocktail with st Germain elderflower and great wine. We had the crab starter, (which was lovely and tasty but didn't have a huge amount of crab in it) and the Breton chicken and frites which was perfect!. Really great. Friendly staff too.

Great service as always and food was delicious! Will be back again soon!

Food is delicious and service is exceptional. The staff make you feel like they’re giving you priority service.

Food was delicious, spoilt by bubbly served in wine glass, they had no champagne flutes available even though it was only 6pm & restaurant only 1/3rd full.

Staff are excellent, attentive, friendly and highly professional. Food high quality. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Only disappointment ( not your fault) was my husband not being able to have a licquer coffee at the end of his birthday meal.

We visited on the last night before lockdown. Lovely ambience. Staff as usual were friendly and courteous. The menu, due to the impending lockdown was slightly limited, but most of the menu was available. A lovely evening and would recommend.

Brilliant I love water on the table, lovely waiter happy to do substitutes and check on allergies too. Lovely food .

Lovely atmosphere despite the restrictions. Felt very safe indeed and staff were wonderful, especially our waiter. He deserves a gold star.

Lovely and very attentive staff . Clean and safe environment.

Nice service as usual, my only complaint was my chicken which found to be too dry. Later when asked how my meal was I did mention about the chicken, initially I was asked if I wanted a dessert but didn't feel like one. When I asked for my bill my chicken meal was immediately discounted, without any fuss or bother, which was vey much appreciated. In fact after this experience, it will encourage me back .

Even in these strange times the team at Cote are trying , and successfully giving great service. Quality food and nice interaction and rapport. Whilst always observing “Social Distancing “ 😉

The Standard of food was excellent. My husband & I both had the prawn gratinee for starter & Chateaubriand for main which were delicious. We finished the meal with ice cream & cheese. This menu was exceptional value for money & I would wholeheartedly recommend Côte restaurant.

Sadly there were only ourselves and one other couple in but the food, the service, the staff were all brilliant. Felt like we had our own private restaurant, which was lovely for us, but we would rather see the restaurant full to bursting point. Please, please, please keep this restaurant open. I don't know where you get your staff from but they are great.
