Love this restaurant. Never had a bad experience. Food is amazing and excellent service. Highly recommend. Early bird menu value for money as it set menu on a Saturday

Delicious food, lovely armosphere. polite, welcoming, and friendly staff. Quick service but not so quick you felt rushed or pressured- appropriate. Water automatically offered on arrival which is always nice. Appropriate price for meal.

Thanks very much we had a wonderful time. All the staff was great especially the French waiter who took really good care of us. Food was gorgeous.

We visited Côte on Saturday evening, came in from a bitterly cold wind to a lovely, warm and lively restaurant. Welcomed by friendly staff and attended to without our having to wait. When asked what we would like to drink, we explained that we had booked online and the offer we had chosen included a complimentary bottle of wine. The waitress said she would go and check this and returning to our table confirmed the offer but said that it was for us to receive a free bottle of house wine. We informed her that the offer online had been that we could choose from a selection of wines, one of which was Sauvignon Blanc. She left again and returned to say we were correct. We were a little embarrassed by having to negotiate, within earshot of other diners, something that we understood was to be a free and welcoming gesture by yourselves. The waitress was very polite and did apologise for the confusion. We ordered our meals, my wife asked for Prawns and Chilli (the March special), I ordered Mussels. My first course was delicious but my wife complained that hers contained only a faint suggestion of chilli. Our waitress asked how we found our first course. I told her that mine was fine , my wife mentioned that hers was only satisfactory given that it was a relatively chilli-less chilli dish. The waitress said something about mentioning wife’s complaint to someone. We heard no more about it. The main courses were Lamb Rump (me) and Monkfish (my wife). My lamb dish was excellent but my wife’s fish, she said, was a little dry. We completed the meal s with coffee. We then asked for our bill only to discover that it included the cost of the bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. We then had to ask the waitress to take the charge for our complimentary wine off the bill. This she di without any fuss but, again, we were having to negotiate within view and hearing of fellow diners which was again embarrassing. We know Côte very well and we have in the past enjoyed lovely meals and warm hospitality in your branches in London and in Chester. We do not, generally speaking, have any cause for complaint but Saturday’s unfortunate experience has determined that we should give you as 4 out of 6 rather than full marks.

A very enjoyable meal thank you. Very impressive waitress - every attempt to up-sell but in a very nice, non aggressive, manner. Seemed to know her stuff about everything she was serving too! If I was opening a restaurant I would want to give her a job!

Nice enough but didn’t blow my mind. Scallop salad special had may too much vinegar which made it overpowering. Crab mayonnaise lacked flavour.

Excellent food and terrific service. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish. We arrived early for our booking but were given a good table straight away. Serving staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very lovely birthday lunch with my daughter they went the extra mile she had a really nice dessert with candles a nice touch I thought.

It was very good indeed. The staff were extremely pleasant and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend. The onion soup was very good and also the sea bass and the chicken with garlic butter.

Friendly staff and a good sized table for 2, even though it was close to where the trays were going in and out of the restaurant! Lovely food..but the 12.5% service charge is a bit steep for Liverpool. We always give 10%

Love Cote - easy dining in comfy surroundings and a relaxed atmosphere

Always good and wide choice menu with lovely staff. I have never had a second rate meal at Cote. Prices are not too expensive although i feel 10% gratuity is fine and not too happy with 12.5%.

We had lunch with you today.It was quite quiet today, which suited us nicely. Delicious food at a sensible price. and good service. Cote is our favourite lunchtime meeting place.

Been here a lot. Always feel welcome and the service attentive. Sometimes the food lets the service down but overall is good value and normally done well. Manager always efficient and friendly.

What can I say been here many times and the food the staff excellent cannot say otherwise I have friends from Norway and Finland who come over and they too enjoy Côte the staff are fab 5 stars 😊

We had a fabulous meal here yesterday and were really impressed by the quality of the food and the customer service. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

It didnt go entirely to plan, my main was wrong but the way it was handled was a credit to them! The waiter brought bread and olives so I had something while I waited, he made sure the chef cooked my meal as quick as possible, which he did and to add to that the manageress came to the table with the bill and apologized again and said my main had been removed from the bill! Things do go wrong but it is how they are resolved and top marks to them tonight! And we left a tip! Well done.

Amazing staff. Amazing food. It’s bar far my favourite restaurant in liverpool. It’s the perfect place to go for reasonably priced food that is cooked to perfection. I love how the make a fuss when it’s your birthday too

I chose to visit Liverpool Côte for my birthday so glad we did we were looked after from start to finish amazing service and tasty food thank you we will be back.

We had a super meal and great service catered really well for a gluten free diet. I try Cote in most cities I visit and this was the first time in Liverpool and I would definitely go again.

Nice atmosphere/ambience. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. As a cook, I'm often critical of restaurant food, but not on this occasion. Really well cooked, promptly served - probably the best meal I've had 'out' in Liverpool for a long time. Will definitely return.

The food here is absolutely delicious. There's not one thing I have tried that I haven't enjoyed! The service is also really good and the staff are very friendly! Nice romantic atmosphere inside also!

The staff were all very friendly, efficient and helpful. All the food was good quality and the wine reasonable price. Irish coffee my husband had was particularly good.

Meal was lovely. My only criticism is you are not offered a choice of potatoes, it’s fries only.

Always good food at Cote Brasserie and this was no exception. The waiter and waitress service was also good. However, I prebooked my table and was very disappointed to find that the table that was reserved for me was by the corridor leading to the kitchen and toilets.

Greeted at the door and shown to our table. Staff efficient , friendly and helpful. All food and drink good quality and cooked very well.

Lovely food as ever but although we ordered them, you forgot our gree cocktails! I'd be happier if you didn't add a suggested service charge to the bill, as I prefer to decide on my own tip. Staff are lovely. A great experience overall.

We had a very good meal. Everything was well cooked and presented. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive. We would certainly go again when in Liverpool.

Food lovely, however a little bit of an issue by the food being late and the bill being incorrect. However the bill was rectified. Would go again though as the breakfast was very good

Truly excellent service on this very busy day. Food was as good as ever, but we really appreciated the extra lengths the staff went to to put right a delay on the food due to a very busy Mother’s Day.

I was only in Liverpool for the evening & whilst not my first choice (as I always try to avoid chains), having been to a few cotes before I thought i’d give this a try. On arrival, the ambience as good & the staff were attentive. We were taken straight to our table & the service was good. The food arrived quickly and was really tasty. The staff always checked to make sure we were happy & were friendly & chatty. We enjoyed our evening & would definately go back

Excellent service and very tasty food; I strongly recommend Cote Liverpool. The Breton stew was excellent and both of us enjoyed it. We will be going again.
