We arrive at 19:30 and we were shown to our table and given the menu's. It took 20 to 25 minutes before we were asked about our drinks order, and we gave both our food and drinks order. The starters didn't take long to arrive, they were not small or large, but ample. Well prepared and presented. The main courses came in good time and again were well prepared, presented and ample, but one meal had been forgotten. It did arrive fairly quickly. Two small points, the belly pork did not have crispy crackling, and the veal escallop could have been more golden. The food is very good here and we will return again soon.

We've eaten here before and it's usually pretty good. Tonight the haddock with puy lentils was rather dry and the service patchy, but the staff were otherwise great.

Very nice, good service but please leave gratuities as a choice not added to the bill as optional. Customers may feel embarrassed to ask for it to be removed.

Food was good although it took some time to arrive. Waiter service excellent. Worse part of the night was being sat at the booths with so little leg room that you had to have your legs bent all night so you didn't kick the person opposite you. This caused pain during the evening and I suffered back ache the following day.

Amersham and the Cote restaurant were very busy at the time of our visit. Nevertheless the service and quality of food were as good as we have come to expect from Cote restaurants.

No complaints with the food but service was unacceptably sluggish. We were left with empty plates in front of us far too long. You seemed very short staffed compared with previous visits, or less well trained than usual.

This is a really nice restaurant but I was very disappointed in the Veal special. It was over cooked dry and tasteless. As I was in company I didn't want to back it and sit eating the replacement on my own,but I did point it out to the waiter at the end. I was still charged and paid for it ,so I feel you owe me really.

We found staff helpful and the food was yummy. The atmosphere was also comfortable. We all agreed we had a lovely time and would go again.

I have been to Cotes before and been impressed but the service was poor. We had to ask for things repeatedly and the food wasn't great. Altogether disappointing.

Tried the 25th anniversary set menu. Food was very tasty and well presented. The Grand Marnier crepe had a lot of alcohol which was great. Service was efficient and friendly. Would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent fish soup made a really enjoyable starter with all the trimmings. Please keep it on the menu. Better than Fishworks version in Marylebone High Street. Vedgetables were well cooked but unfortunately arrived rather late after the main course had been served but did not spoil the enjoyment. Waiter on only his second day at the restaurant was very courteous. Another excellent meal at Cote - by far my favourite restaurant group with always changing additions to menu.

For our lunch today we enjoyed excellent food and service which is our usual experience. We also appreciate the frequent changes in your menus which adds to our enjoyment of our visits.

Nice location, lovely food, pleasant atmosphere. Staff willing, but a bit forgetful as they seemed to be short of staff, but corrected omissions quickly. We were with family, and come back again in the next few weeks.

Always a great experience; helpful, friendly staff and great food at modest prices. If you're a couple and you want to talk, recommend you ask to be seated at the front as it's quieter, especially if there's a large party at the back.

Good menu choice, seasonal specials brought to our attention, good wine selection, pleasant and attentive staff, service just right, neither rushed nor slow, a very enjoyable experience. In rating the price I have factored in the optional 12.5% service charge which is added to the bill.

Although the restaurant was busy, the service was very slick and the food , as always, excellent. Well balanced menu, and very reasonably priced. Cote offers and delivers excellent value.

A great evening with wonderful food. We enjoyed the very reasonably priced fixed menu which you can order until 7pm. We will certainly be visiting again.

We had to wait ages to be served for both drinks and food. The meal took ages to come and then we weren't even asked if we wanted a pudding. Food was nice but the overall experiene was not good.

The food was good but we waited a long time to be served and they were not busy. Once they got their act together service was good by a very nice young man who we couldn't fault not sure who was in charge but it felt like there was no experienced staff on that night. But the long delay at the start rather spoilt things . They just did not appear to be organised. Waiting for water to arrive took an age which is unusual for Cote restaurants.

We only use Amersham occasionally as we have a very good Cote within walking distance of our home, the food and atmosphere was equal to our local Cote, staff were good.

We really enjoyed our meal once my husband's fish was replaced. We were not charged for this And it was all sorted without any fuss. Certainly will go again

Excellent lunch on a very hot day. Service was good. Each course was brought promptly without a feeling of being rushed. Food was well prepared, and tasty. All staff worked hard to make our visit a pleasant one. Will certainly go again.

We enjoyed our evening out at The Brasserie in Old Amersham. The food is very good and service also very good. Only downside is that it is rather noisy when busy.

Lovely breakfast and food especially the Monday through Friday lunch special 10.95 or 12.95 Greatly enjoyed . The food is always that bit different and good quality . Don't change the concept please.
