A nice range of french rustic style food, with a good ambience and good service, Fairly expensive but not too much to put you off.

Enjoyed our meal. Had the set menu and it suited us very well. It was busy and a bit slow but with friends so was ok.

Cote Brasserie hits the spot on so many levels - A focused menu where the diner can create their own journey at a price that most can afford - The standard of cooking is high with dishes thoughtfully seasoned and presented, respect for good ingredients backed up with sound inexpensive wines - The service is intuitive and appropriate - the only area i would criticise is the rather dour grey decor at the Amersham restaurant - This was my second visit and pleased to report the same high standards applied!

We went for lunch on Tuesday 11th July and chose the set menu, the food was lovely, service was great. Would thoroughly recommend ! 😄

The food was, at best, average. Roast chicken came with unpleasant thick gravy and the potatoes had an unpleasant taste. They must have been previously cooked, then reheated which gives that sooty taste.

Excellent menu at a very competitive price and attentive friendly staff. The second visit in less than a week, so it must be very good!

There was grit in my meal, however I didn't complain as i was in a group. i asked for extra sauce and didn't receive it. i was cold with the door open and mentioned this, but nothing was done.

Cote Brasserie in Amersham is always very good. Staff are very pleasant, well mannered and cheerful. Food invariably is excellent. The ambiance of the retaurant is wonderful. Naturally, with all its good points, we are fairly regular customers, especially as they change aspects of their menu monthly.

Excellent food and friendly staff made our evening very enjoyable. Looking forward to visiting the restaurant for breakfast very soon. as breakfast menu very appealing.

We ordered two vegetarian salads, of mushroom, mozzarella, gem lettuce, spinach, avocado, green beans,walnuts which ca,e without avocado,greenbeens,walnuts and little gem lettuce. We complained at the time and had these deducted from Bill. Also served white wine that wasn't child, so had to choose a different white wine. One guest chose a red Bordeaux which tasted sour and vinegary, by that time we had given up with complaining. Staff were kind, but the meal as not at a standard we expected. Not planning to return in a hurry.

A really nice lunch with good choice of food and well prepared and presented. The service was attentive and friendly. Not our first visit and won't be the last.

Nice food and kir royale. We had fish parmentier and a chicken salad followed by choc praline caramelised banana crepes and Eton mess style dessert.

Brilliant food great service the atmosphere was good for a Thursday night and my date was looking extremely attractive. Going to take her home now and ravish her head to toe.

Great food but service was even better . We rang ahead to ask if a wheelchair user could be accommodated and from the moment she arrived our elderly guest was treated royally Thank you !!

Very nice meal, reasonably priced and the service was excellent. The only downside with this restaurant is the noise level, always busy and folks seem to talk really loudly to each other, left without coffee because couldn't hear ourselves think, a shame.

Cote always has a really good atmosphere, nice food,helpful staff and I would recommend it to my friends. Been many times and always consistently good and exceedingly great value for money

Service was very slow throughout the evening, one person ordered salmon but got steak, wine glasses were removed- still had a bottle of wine left.

There was a good atmosphere in the restaurant and there was a good range of options on the menu. The food was good quality and delicious and the service very good.

Lovely food. Good service. Only suggestion is that a garnish be served with the main course and that the server should ask if a side dish of salad/vegetables is required when the order is taken. We will definitely be back.

Enjoyed our lunch. However, dislike the service charge being added by you. Prefer to decide for myself. Also, water bottles (1/2 litre) far too small and had to ask for more. Good otherwise.

The food at Cote is always very good, but the restaurant suffers from bad acoustics and the ambient noise level is very high, making conversations difficult. On the day, service was also quite slow.

I visited Cote, Old Amersham with friends to celebrate my birthday. Always our first choice of restaurant to visit. Once again we were not disappointed and our meal was excellent. The staff were attentive, helpful and very pleasant.

A VERY PLEASANT MEAL AND STAFF WERE VERY EFFICIENT. THERE SEEMED TO BE A PROBLEM IN THE KITCHEN (NO DRESSING ON SALAD ADVERTISED AND DESSERTS TOOK A LONG TIME TO COME OUT) HOWEVER, THE FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF HAD NOTICED THIS AND TOOK ACTION PRIOR TO US MAKING A COMPLAINT. WELL DONE TO THEM. IT WILL NOT AFFECT OUR DESIRE TO RETURN ON THIS OCCASION.

We visited on a Sunday evening to celebrate my son's birthday and several dishes were no longer available after what had presumably been a busy day at the restaurant. The food was mostly excellent as usual, but a summer fruit dessert was very short on fruit and bulked out with cream. The waiter mentioned that they were running out of fruit - perhaps this item should also have been taken off the menu if it couldn't be served correctly? Service was slow.

I was very disappointed that the french onion soup was no longer on the menu. Otherwise it was all good. Service was good. Ambiance was good.

Had a great meal with a visiting friend from New Zealand who is gluten intolerant. She had her own menu with a great choice and thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

Interesting food, looks well presented - but my hollandaise sauce was tasteless. Do not like the 'optional' 12.5% service charge which is automatically added to your bill.
