The seating did not ensure social distancing and we waited a long time for service. Although the breakfast then arrived very quickly, unfortunately, both the bacon and the sausage tasted like they had been cooked some time previously and then kept warm

We have had Cote at home numerous times over lockdown which has been amazing. This was the first time visiting one of their restaurants and it was superb. Our 2 children were made to feel more than welcome, food and wine was perfect and we all had a great evening. Thankyou all so much

Unfortunately we had to send our steaks back (steak frites); staff were most apologetic and the two main meals were taken off our bill, which was a really nice gesture. The grand marnier crepe was really delicious, presented flaming, so quite spectacular. Complimentary cocktails were really nice and the wine, as always, well chilled and very tasty.

As always a great evening and an excellent meal. Nice to have specials back . Hope you can keep trading through these times as the restaurant was very quite last night three of us an two others,

Had returned from abroad to face a two weeks quarantine so on our first night of freedom chose Cote .Thankfully not at all disappointed ,there were enough people out on a Tuesday evening to give the place atmosphere and had a very enjoyable evening .

We always have an excellent meal here and our most recent one was no exception. The food was delicious, the team was friendly and enthusiastic, and the social distancing measures made us feel very safe and secure. A lovely experience for a Thursday evening!

We enjoyed a very pleasant meal early on a Wednesday evening. Felt totally safe with all the restrictions in place, but still relaxed. My only slightly negative comment is that, with the reduced menu, the vegetarian choice is limited. We were hoping to meet up weekly with my sister and her husband, but my husband would get bored with his choices, so it may be less regularly.....

The staff were friendly and polite but my daughter was given a warm croissant ages before our cooked breakfasts arrived which I thought was strange. She then had to wait another 5 minutes for her coffee so the croissant was cold and the coffee was not as ordered so she then had to wait even longer. The cooked breakfast was delicious apart from the bacon which tasted like it had been cooked earlier then reheated and was like leather.

Tonight I had such a pleasant experience in the restaurant. The service was amazing and also very quick, but didn’t feel rushed at all and our waiter (I saw on the receipt Luke S I think it was) was outstanding! Very pleasant experience and will be back soon!

Lovely to be back again, to a warm welcome. Staff were all masked and all regulations were observed. Service was good, but we were not rushed and the free cocktail was much appreciated. The restaurant was clean and tables were well spaced and the atmosphere was good, although on this occasion there were not many diners.

We've been here a fair few times now and keep going back as it's one of our favourite places. The food is always delicious, the wine is to die for and the service is always brilliant. The staff are friendly and measures have been taken to ensure everyone stays safe.

The service was excellent. I've always found the staff really friendly and helpful and today was no exception. The food appeared on time and was piping hot. My double espresso at the end of the meal was perfect and again just the right temperature. My first course onion soup was really tasty (a little difficult to deal with the bread and cheese in the middle because it was difficult to catch) and so was the fish parmentier. Only two small niggles: with so few customers the atmosphere was quite empty, but that's no one's fault and it didn't detract from the quality of the meal. The tomatoes I had on the side were OK but I'm used to Jack Hawkins and these today didn't seem to taste as good as those, but they were well presented and nicely accompanied by shallot and basil.

We have had a lovely meal made all the more pleasurable by excellent friendly staff in particular Angela who was our waitress
