Lovely food as always . Nice to see it was busy but they were able to serve in a timely manner. Staff as always polite and friendly . Our favourite restaurant In Birmingham in a lovely location.

Far to rushed, our table was booked for 7:30, we looked at menus whilst chatting with our guest and our food was ordered- by 8:30 I had finished my main! The main arrived whilst we still had the plates for our 1st course in front if us - very old. The restaurant wasn’t busy by the time we left - we had more drinks and coffee to extend the evening at our own pace - so I’m not sure what the rush was

Steak and pork were too dry and over cooked. For the quality,I should not be paying 15% for service charge.

We arrived at the restaurant for our 4.30 booking. We waited for 10 minutes for someone to talk to us. Once seated we waited for 20 minutes and we could not attract a waiter. We then left and no one spoke to or acknowledged us. Very poor service even on a busy day for previously regular customers.

Very quick initial service, if anything too eager to take our orders, After main then seemed to be ignore, did get desert, but would have enjoyed a coffee but not approaches Had to find staff to ask for the bill

Had an amazing table on the terrace, staff were very attentive and accommodating. The manager went out of his way to check we were happy. We all ordered different items & everyone enjoyed everything. As always a great place to eat.

This was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately we chose a very busy day and they had sold out of the meal that I had chosen online. However the food was excellent, above the standard that we had come to expect from restaurants in the locality. The white wine however could have been more chilled. The service was attentive and professional. We shall definitely eat there again.

Really enjoyed this place on 2 occasions. Good service and great food. However, I am not happy with a service charge being applied to my bill. I will always tip but not happy at being told how much. And I think 12.5% is too much.

Orderd the Pork for my main, Not much flavour and the pork was over cooked. My starter and dessert was okay. Service was not the best waited along time for the table to be cleared in between courses, and for the bill especially when the restaurant was quiet and plenty of staff on duty.

We had a great afternoon, thanks to the manager in particular after his kind offer of a voucher after a difficult afternoon service on mother's day. We'll be back!

Food was great, or waiter was obviously new to the job, he did apologise for forgetting a few things but told us there was too much for him to remember, not really what we expected. He seemed to spend more time clearing, cleaning, and lighting candles, than serving customers. But great food!

High standard of cuisine with an authentic french taste, and a good range of dishes to choose from on the menu. Good service and lively atmosphere; a very enjoyable evening.

Enjoyed the food very much - asparagus really tasty. There were few people there so the atmosphere was a little too quiet. Prices are about right, perhaps slightly on the expensive side, but with the free rhubarb cocktail it was about the right balance.
