Food lovely not much of it though. Wish there was more vegetables perhaps, for £20.30 a piece of meat and a few fries is naff in today’s standard

Generally Lovely but when we entered me and my mum were ignored my two waiters which felt kind of rude. Once a waiter finally did attend to us it was fine. It was a bit too noisy but we understand for a busy mothers day. The food was good, the tart wasnt the most almondly but still lovely and amazing cinnamon icecream!!

Cote Birmingham is ideal for an evening chilled meet up. The staff are delightful, service quick and food delicious. The rhubarb martini was excellent, the salmon with Cornish potatoes and asparagus was heaven on a plate. Thank you. We will be back.

Lovely food and polite service. My only complaint is we were sat by the door which is cold and had people constantly walking past. We asked to be moved but they only gave us a table slightly further away and I now had the sun in my eyes for half the meal. A couple who came in just after were given a better table at the back which was annoying since I had booked weeks in advance. Perhaps they were known to the manager.

Well trained staff, and i mean well trained .When we asked to move tables it was no problem. We were allowed to order a drink before ordering, it was also no problem, not like other restaurants, where the mantra seems to be get them get them out in 45.mins. Just the right amount of time between courses to make it a pleasant experience. Well cooked food at a good price, need i go on? The only problem was the wine selection. Yes i know, it is a french restaurant but they could try wines from other regions of the world on a guest basis. this is the area that prevents me from giving "COTE" the full 6 stars.

On a very busy Saturday (Take That were in town!) we enjoyed a superb early evening dinner with such friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff. A thoroughly great experience. I wish we had a Cote in Torbay where we live. Thank you for a lovely evening x

Booked a table for 6-30pm online. Arrived just before and the table was booked in an other name. Got my phone to show confirmation of the booking, I had inadvertently booked 4-30. The manager was very good about and made a table available. Both the starters and and mains were well presented and the other plates were hot, unfortunately the food was warm, which was a disappointment. At the end of the meal a manager asked how our meal was and we told him. He was quite apologetic and offered a complimentary pudding. As we were undecided wether we had room for on, the decision was made for us! We usually dine in Italian, Chinese, Indian or Restaurants we know have a good choice Vegetarian selection. And hadn’t considered this type of restaurant following poor veggie choices available. But having dined with a couple friends in another of yours, we will certainly be making it more, as long as the food is served hot!!

Everything was really nice. I’d never been here before and just looked online and saw it had a lot of positive reviews. All the reviews were well deserved and it was a really nice night. Would come back.

Nice location but embarassing service. 2 people, we took the most expensive valentine menus (2 x 38$). The aperitif didn't arrive before the starters, I had to ask for it,so we had the starters cold. We asked for some more bread and I have been charged for it (2$ over a 90$ bill). Also, I didn't appreciate the "optional" service automatically on my bill, I would have been happy to pay for it if you had asked.

Food was great, or waiter was obviously new to the job, he did apologise for forgetting a few things but told us there was too much for him to remember, not really what we expected. He seemed to spend more time clearing, cleaning, and lighting candles, than serving customers. But great food!

Slight issue with confusion over meals ordered as there were two very similarly named -rump of lamb and lamb rump. We got the one not ordered but when we realised this was dealt with efficiently and to our satisfaction.

We booked a table for 5.30 on a Friday night. Pleasantly surprised that we could choose from the early evening prestige set menu (good value for money). Lovely staff friendly and helpful. Well deserved tip as the menu states that all tips go to staff. It was getting busy as we paid and left but it was a nice touch that a member of staff came outside to thank us for our visit. Would definitely recommend and will return.

This was our first visit to Côte Brasserie in The Mailbox and it won't be the last. We received a really warm welcome and were given a choice of tables. The menus were varied and the waiter was able to recommend a very good bottle of wine. The food and service were excellent and although the restaurant became busy we were not rushed at all. Thank you very much for a lovely dining experience .

Enjoyed the food very much - asparagus really tasty. There were few people there so the atmosphere was a little too quiet. Prices are about right, perhaps slightly on the expensive side, but with the free rhubarb cocktail it was about the right balance.

Love Cote and usually go to St Katherine's Dock in London. Thought we'd try Mailbox, Birmingham brach on our weekend away and use loyalty scheme free bottle of wine. It was a cold night but we had a lovely warm welcome from maitre d' who recognised we had a deal without us having to mention it. The food was delicious as always and service was friendly, polite and attentive. Great choice on menu too. We will definitely be back and look forward to our next visit

This is the second time myself and partner have dined at the Cote Brasserie. The food quality is excellent as is the staff service. We dined at 6pm and there were people already there giving a lovely atmosphere. The bill included a service charge, which could be declined, but the value for money was excellent again and we happily paid for the service provided, Regards, Marc and Joan
