Good food, service and atmosphere. The staff appeared rushed at times (understaffed?) but still gave good service. Looking forward to next visit and May's menu. Perhaps more Spring vegetables?

Excellent food and a very friendly service, one of the best places to eat in Bristol. The mid week set menu is good value and delicious.

We received a warm welcome and were seated vey quickly. Service as usual was prompt and attentive and the food was excellent. The restaurant was very busy so a little noisy but this didn't impact on a very enjoyable evening.

Enjoyed the fixed price breakfast deal. My only (slight) grumble was that the poached eggs were a bit rubbery, maybe had been sitting around for a while, whilst my husband's were nice soft/runny. Otherwise no complaints. Maybe for a slightly higher price consider offering unlimited refills of tea/coffee?

Excellent all around, shame about people coming in drunk and making a lot of noise. Would be better to refuse service to drunks to improve atmosphere.

Food was lovely.. However our main meal was forgotten and we had to wait a long time for it to final come out!!! On the upside our waitress was very nice and very quickly offered us a free drink and dessert which was very nice.. We were sat next to 2 very loudly spoke men so me and my husband could hardly have a conversation which is obviously not the restaurants fault, just ruined our experience!!!!! Food was very nice and I would return, maybe not straight away though...

A very enjoyable lunch for 9 persons and whilst in general we were well looked after, the food could of been served slightly warmer and on hotter plates

Our first time at cote brasserie and very impressed. The food was amazing at a very reasonable £18.95 for 3 courses, the service was very attentive and overhaul good value, would definitely return.

Really lovely food, at a great price with fantastic service and atmosphere. We ordered from the evening set menu and the portion sizes were decent and the selection was very good.

We had a lovely meal in a very pleasant atmos with fine standard of service. The only thing that rankles...is the «  optional » service charge. Please let us choose how much to give .

Always enjoy visits to Cote but today it was particularly noisy as there was a birthday party on the next table. Difficult to hear and enjoy a normal conversation.

Chicken dry no flavour what so ever- had to be eaten with mayo to make it taste like anything, asked for medium well done steak got well-done twice. Service was good and manager tried to offer a drink as compensation, but not worth the £££ prices.

Lovely meal, pleasant surroundings, good service. Been here many times before. A celebratory lunch so very successful. My husband always likes s coffee with his dessert but this request received”I can’t promise but I’ll do my best”. The coffee arrived with the dessert but we fail to see why it would have been a problem.

Lovely meal really enjoyed the night.. extremely busy but the staff coped well and very attentive. 3 courses none disappointed and the manageress sorted the one minor point very quickly.. My fiancèe and I had a lovely experience at Côte in Clifton Village, the steaks and the chocolate fondants were perfectly cook and they were complimented with friendly service.

Excellent service, nice surroundings, food tasted great. I would have given 6 stars but the pastry on the lemon tart was not right - it was soft.

Excellent in every way. We were celebrating 2birthdays and the decorated dessert plates saying happy birthday were a love,y surprise. Enjoyed free kir royale too.

Another good lunch at Cote Brasserie Clifton. Great service, reliably good food, and a lovely glass of Bordeaux. Will be back. The atmosphere is lovely and if you want a quieter spot to sit just ask.

A really lovely meal and I'm not sure what you can do about noisy neighbours, Not that it was nearly as bad as I've known it, but why do people have to shout? no-one was being intentionally inconsiderate, but maybe restaurants should invest in better sound absorption, There must be ways that don't involve carpets, curtains and hushed reverence.

The meal was excellent we had the day menu and the staff as usual was excellent, viva the European Union with foreign staff so efficient .

Use this restaurant regularly. Always receive great service from friendly attentive staff. Only thing I would suggest is that Cote update their dessert menu occasionally as this never seems to change

Easter weekend Saturday night so very busy. Greeted and taken to our prebooked table. Complimentary French Cocktails were superb. Had a long wait for the starter but the rest of the meal flowed appropriately. As always we felt welcomed and valued customers. Can’t wait to return.
