Côte Bristol Clifton Village

The server was telling us what was not available before we had sat down so we didn't hear any of it. We both ordered ribeye steaks medium my when it arrived was well done we couldn't get the sauce we wanted and there wasn't very much on the plates. We also couldn't get one of the desserts we wanted. The service wasn't very good overall the experience was pretty poor shall not be going back in a hurry.

We are pleased that at last you have reopened in Clifton As always we enjoyed our meal We did on three occasions have to ask the same waiter to speak up, so you should remind your staff to be aware some older people may have difficulty in hearing

Delicous meal and friendly service.Would recommend Côte Brasserie to anyone wanting a French style lunch or dinner.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was very good and the staff were very friendly.

We were impressed as always with the service and the food. Perceptions can be misleading but my wife noticed how all the female waitresses constantly washed their hands using the had sanitiser but the men didn't. It was pointed out they they washed in the kitchen but apart from one man who was the manager!

Really lovely meal with friends, food was tasty though would have enjoyed a few more vegetarian options

Enjoyed my foid. All fresh and tasty. For a family of 4 we ordered different dishes and 100%happy. Will come back again

Lovely to be back at Cote. Tables well spaced , staff wearing visors, so felt very comfortable. All three courses were absolutely delicious. Baked crottin, belly pork and the wonderful creme caramel. Yummy, yummy. Best meal for ages. Well done Cote. Well be back soon.

We were concerned that with the rules of social distancing could effect the atmosphere of this vibrant restaurant but not at all. The food, service and buzz was as good as always and we had a perfect evening. Thanks

Yet again , superb service and great food. The management team are the best I have ever known!! It's great to see you back, we have missed you !! My only complaint is that you did not publicise your re-opening, we only discovered by accident. Very pleased that we did !!

The usual high standard... Understandable, but quite difficult to hear waiters requests... Unusually noisy bat times...

We have enjoyed a lovely meal except that we were too close to the bins route and heard so much banging around with bins (glass) being emptied. I don't know if there is a better time to empty those bins but certainly the handling of the bins too was not of the most "delicate". The coffee machine too was particularly noisy and seemed to be on but perhaps we will ask for a different table next time

Sadly many items missing from menu including veg but what we did have was still very good

It was lovely to be back. We love Clifton Cote! My husbands meal was fabulous. He had the prawn starter followed by the beef Bourginion, both full of flavour and delicious. I however felt disappointed I had the crab starter with toasted sour dough bread. I was expecting the toast to be very crisp. It was very lightly toasted and therefore quite soft and soggy, which made the dish bland. I followed this with the lobster which had a wonderful flavour but I believe was overcooked, dry and quite tough. We both followed with the crime caramel which was, as ever absolutely gorgeous. The service was excellent attentive yet unobtrusive.

Lovely staff but service a bit rushed. My partner left his glasses on the table and one of the waitresses chased after us to return them. Excellent!

What an amazing evening! This was to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary and we will not forget it 😁the food was fantastic and we can recommend the saumur blanc. I had fougasse as 'starter' but next time would order it to share and eat it with the prawn gratinee. The fish parmantiere and breton chicken were both perfect.

Everything was excellent from beginning to end, good and service up to usual standards, a few favourite dishes missing off menu but that is to be expected at this time.

Loved the extra space between tables. Staff coped well with a busy 'Eat Out to Help Out’ Monday.
