Great service, great food just what we hoped for and were not disappointed

We dine here frequently and the food and service is consistently good we will keep coming back

Eggs over cooked and mushrooms cold but the rest of the Food was nice.

First visit, even though we eat out in Bury fairly often we were always put off going to eat in a chain restaurant. The ambience was nice and a good selection on the menu although, a little pricey and 12.5% tip added is a bit cheeky! The staff were attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, will definitely be returning.

All okay, but meat on both meals was dry, as if plates had waited under heat to be delivered. Waitress was new, so we are tolerant but feel important to be offered drink early on while looking at menu and this didn’t happen so sat for a while with just menu.

The food and service were both good. We would go again in the future.

We always enjoy our time at the Cote. It’s our go-to place. Staff are always polite, food always good. We even had a meal there with family after our wedding.

We ordered Fish Parmentier which we enjoyed on a previous visit it was excellent would highly recommend. The staff were very charming and attentive despite the restaurant being very busy.

Nice food, steak well cooked and everything hot. Not very good that the main arrived 2 minutes after the starter so left half the starter to begin my our main, queried it and was told the kitchen was working fast this evening, no apology. This has happened before in other restaurants and I generally don’t go back.

It was a lovely meal and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. It was my partners birthday and a nice touch to the evening was that the price of her dessert was taken off the bill.

Ist visit since feb/mar. Food excellent as were the staff. Our 2nd meal out in all these months and well worth it.

Staff are really helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Remembered us from our last visit a few weeks ago.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The weather was lovely so we were able to sit outside. Unfortunately the food wasn't very good. We had calamari (which was deep fried) and a bit tasteless. I also had a chicken salad and fair few bits of salad were old and slimy, which usually is alright but it was nearly £13 so not quite good enough. Overall, I wouldn't rate the food at all, it was very disappointing. But as I said, staff were lovely (if a little slow at times despite only having a couple of tables in the whole resturant).

My husband and I used to use Cote at least twice a week. Sadly my husband passed away in March and I decided to revisit to remember many happy hours spent here. Received the warmest of welcomes and as usual lovely food and wine. Will be back often.

Lovely food, Covid 19 compliant. Disappointed that there was no acknowledgement that it was my husbands birthday which I mentioned when I booked it but the restaurant appeared to have missed this information or ignored it.

Cocktail was fantastic. Service good. Food lovely. Slightly strange with less people and we prefer to decide on what and when to tip and not have it added to the bill.

I arrived earlier than booked, but was welcomed and showed to a table. I waited 30 mins for someone to take my drink and food order. Food came within 5 mins of ordering, but missing a side. Staff were welcoming and very nice, but waiting time and lack of attention to full order was disappointing. Food was ok, I’ve had much better food and service on previous visits.

The service was great as always in the Bury St Edmunds branch! The new menu was a let down!! You have left off all the great things like the steak Tartare and the Duck!! I had the sea bream last night it was cooked very well but I couldn’t be fussed with all the bones so I left most of it. Which was such a shame as the sea bass was always excellent at the restaurant but the bream wasn’t enjoyable to eat. I suggest you take another look at the menu!!!

Our visit and lunch were most enjoyable - excellent food - brilliant staff - lovely ambience - safety measures in place. All in all a bit of normality back in our lives. G. DeVere
