Good service good food. Though the timings were not excellent and not having the ingredients for the cocktail was quite surprising.

Great food but service slug like. Started well in busy service and drinks and starter arrived in first 10 minutes. Asked for extra slice of bread with starter and charged for a basket! Then waited 40 minutes for main to arrive. Asked and then ignored. But it came and manager apologised but that was it. Other diners had been served before us but no reason given. Asked if we would like another drink and we ordered, food came and manager vanished. After main had decided to get bill and go. I asked the manager to take the service charge off the bill and left never to return. Manager could have tried to make it right but all he had to offer were empty words and could not even look at me when apologising. Shame really because food at pizza express average but service amazing. Food here amazing but service very average bordering on absent!

Easy booking system and great food and service as usual

Of course we enjoyed our meals - the standard was as good as ever!! We look on Cote as our favourite restaurant and we usually take our visitors there. They often get to looking up their nearest Cote because they are so impressed. The pleasant attitude among the staff makes for a good atmosphere to accompany good food. Thank you.

This is our favourite restaurant in Bury. First meal out since lockdown. Welcomed like long lost friends with a complimentary kia royale on arrival. Staff always so welcoming, friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. Thank you everyone for making our first visit back so special.

I had some difficult allergies whereby I needed 10 minutes notice before I ate to take a pill. The manager was absolutely fantastic - I can’t praise him enough! He and his team really got on board with this and made what could have been a painful experience into a fabulous one! Bury St Edmunds is our favourite Cote - with good reason ! Thanks guys you were amazing! Lovely to return after 6 months. Be back soon ! Sally

We had a fabulous meal. We all realised how much we missed Cote whilst it was closed.

Had a table outside in the nice courtyard garden at the rear of the restaurant. Outside heaters are great! Food was very good - service was a bit slow but over all a very good experience.

Menu is rather static. Staff are friendly and helpful. A good night out.

Lovely anniversary celebration brunch - thanks Bury St Edmunds Cote for being open in time, we really enjoyed ourselves! The complimentary kir royale made it even better !!

Excellent varied meal, all our party had different items from the a la carte menu, the kir royale made an excellent starting apero. Service was prompt and very professional and the food excellent.

As usual. the service and ambience for my weekly lunch visit were excellent. However, two disappointments today. On enquiring, if the lamb loin chops were served with mint sauce or jelly I was informed that they were not! Surely, it cannot be too much trouble to have a jar of this in stock which is usually the accompaniment with lamb? My boeuf bourguignon was delicious but not piping hot. I am reluctant to send meat back to be reheated. This has not put me off returning rather dispirited this visit.

Very well organised and efficient, as always. I felt quite safe here during the current restrictions. Cote obviously takes social distancing very seriously. This is heartening, apart from the excellent food on offer.

Some quality time with my 21 year old daughter, fresh out of university armed with a degree but dismayed by the future and her prospects but, a good meal, great service and a good chat over a glass of wine proved a real tonic to both of us- thank you.

Just one criticism. We had booked for 2pm but were delayed on the journey from King's Lynn. We tried to phone to warn of our delay, but it was impossible to contact you by the phone number given with the instructions "press this number for...." being repeated over and over again. Fortunately the restaurant was not full, so we were able to enjoy our visit, but this could cause problems in other circumstances Overall a very pleasant experience - excellent food and attentive service. I f we are in the area again we will revisit you. Thanks.

Excellent as usual. Cleanliness was good, service brilliant and the food superb.

Our waiter was kind and accommodating. I ordered the 'Minute Steak' which tasted great, it was very flavoursome. However, we felt the portion sizes were far too small. For the price paid, the portion of chips seemed quite insufficient.

It was our first visit back since lockdown we received a lovely greeting on arrival and felt completely safe in Cote we had a lovely meal and choose the fillet steak it was absolutely perfect just as we remembered it the steaks really are the best we enjoyed our evening and the staff as usual were first class its great to be back

Had lunch yesterday with my dad, fantastically clean, great food, realy attentive service and we had a really lovely time. Greated as soon as we walked in. Hand sanitiser available throughout and saw good clean down of tables which were well spaced. Staff all wore visors. Thank you

There was no real vegetarian options for my wife but for me there was a great selection. We was asked if we would like the desert menu? We said yes but after almost 25 minutes waiting for it we decided to leave and get an ice cream from Tesco. All though I do not Think is the staffs fault but more the lack of staff maybe?? I don’t know but overall it was a lovely evening.
