Excellent service and food. Very good gluten free options and careful attention for coeliacs. One of our "go to" restaurants and recommend rewards program for extras.
We use Cote regularly when we go to the theatre - Theatre Royal, because we enjoy the quality of food, good speedy service and the staff understand our needs. We are impressed.
Always good to see the friendly faces at Côte Bury St Edmunds.Enjoyed the little lunch menu and my companion found the duck with cherries delicious.
Excellent breakfast. This was the first time that we have been to Cote for breakfast. Very well cooked and served by nice, pleasant staff. We will be back for more, maybe for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Bon appetit!
Lovely food and service. Staff are polite and attentive and the menu and early bird menu offer a good choice for excellent value for money.
Very good value set menu with plenty of options offered and food of a good standard for the price. Service is always good with friendly well trained staff.
My Husband and I had a lovely meal. Tha staff were very attentive and behaved like they were happy to be there and serving the customers which is always a good start. The food was really tasty and cooked beautifully. I can particularly recommend the charcuterie board for starter and the Lamb Shank special as a great main. We will definitely be visiting Cote in Bury St Edmunds again.
As always when we visit Cote, we were met with a warm welcome and the food was of excellent standard. We would always recommend Cote to friends and family.
The restaurant has a very pleasant ambiance and tasty food. The anniversary menu was varied and interesting. The glass of champagne was delicious and welcome.
Very easy to use. No problems when being seated. Points reward are a great idea. The app is a great way to keep up to date with points and reserving a table when you want.
Lovely meal as usual, Breton chicken very tasty. My husband had the Grand Marnier pancakes for dessert and said they were wonderful. Staff great as usual too
We waited quite a long time for each course, we were there for about 2 hrs too long. Just for a main meal and a desert. Don't like service charge on the receipt.
Very friendly and efficient staff with prompt service on a busy evening. AS always, consistently good food. The plaice was excellent and creme caramel was brilliant.
A great atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. Always a pleasure to go and take in the surroundings and lovely food. Excellent for coeliacs like myself .
Food lovely and well presented. Staff welcoming and friendly but service very slow. Fortunately, we weren't in a hurry as table booked for 1.30 and starter served at about 2.15 then mains just before 3. Would still go again!
Very nice staff and a good balance. The food is average, but good enough for a chain restaurant. Would I return, probably as my daughter likes it and the staff were nice.
Lovely staff, nice friendly ambience, but as usual, I found it to be expensive, and not representing good value for money. The menu also needs to be changed more regularly
My friend and I visited on Thursday evening for an early supper. We chose the set menu and had three delicious courses. My hake was perfectly cooked and my friend enjoyed her mussels. We both had the Creme caramel which was sublime. Service was a little slow, but in all a lovely evening.
The food was fine and it was served by helpful restaurant staff in a relaxing atmosphere. It was not our first visit and will not be the last.
Great service & friendly professional staff. Food was also superb and sensibly priced. Atmoshere was warm and relaxing and we never felt rushed to finish.
As usual, great food, service and value for money at Cote. This friendly restaurant is our favourite for a family meal and again it didn't disappoint.
Service was excellent, the pork belly was the best I've ever had, loved the dessert too. Perfect environment. Overall an enjoyable experience, would love to visit again.
A consistently high standard, much more like a real restaurant than a chain. Excellent service means we never have an issue with the (voluntary) service charge. Our go to eatery in Bury St Edmunds.
Would have given a rating of 6 but we had to wait a long time to be attended to after arrival. Food was good and my party enjoyed themselves.
The staff were very welcoming and polite. The food was very good and the service in between courses was just right. The atmosphere was also pleasant.
we've been to Cote many times and took some friends for their first time, the food was good but the service was very very slow, we had to ask twice if our mains were ready (waited 50 mins.) - not good, the restaurant was not busy, won't be back for a while, we'll try other places
Good service. Good food and pleasant ambience. A Birthday lunch that was most enjoyable. Hope to return soon on another occasion. A good choice on the menu.
We always have great food and service. Took my brother there for his first visit and he was suitably impressed. We will be back for sure.
Ok. Small choice of drinks, especially beer. Steak had too much salt and pepper on it. I ordered steak, not a salted piece of cooked meat. Pudding was lovely.
We've been to Cotes several times and always enjoyed it. The food & service are always very good. There were 8 of us this time though and we felt that automatically adding 12.5 % service charge to a bill in excess of £300 was presumptuous. We were happy to pay service but would like to be left to choose how much.
Excellent. Very good food. We had pork belly and potatoes au gratin. Then I had cream caramel which is the best! My husband had chocolate mousse also good. Glass of Rose and two glasses of Cotes du Rhone. Very good efficient service. We had the early evening special menu.
Food and service always to a high standard as is the case in all branches of Cote that I have visited. I lunch here regularly and have never been disappointed.
Good on whole but chicken was very tough. My companion enjoyed it and we will return but I won't choose the chicken. All else was fine.
Four of us took advantage of the early evening dining price. It was good value, the staff were efficient yet funny at the same time. The restaurant was busy with a good buzz, all in all most enjoyable.
Fabulous as a gluten free restaurant with no worries. Eaten here lots of times and love it. The staff are great, friendly and helpful and always there to offer you more. The steak is lovely and to have gluten free chips is great as not many restaurants offer this. A great place.
Me and my wife had a very lovely evening, enjoying a great service and food. We would recommend a visit to try it yourself your won't be sorry
Good service and good range of different of menus with an excellent choice, all four of us enjoyed our meal that were all different We would certainly go back.
My guests were very impressed with menu choices, and really enjoyed the food and ambiance. Service was friendly but professional and print. Nice bathrooms, which ladies always notice.
As a regular customer particularly for breakfast I regret to say that our party of four were disappointed today that the food was not up to the usual excellent standard in terms of overcooked eggs and muffins and also the reduced portion size. We really hope this was a one off.
Great value (3 course set menu) for under £15, lovely food and wine and excellent service with a relaxed feel. We will be back very soon!
