Excellent food, attentive and charming staff, but just a bit slow because restaurant almost full.

Service was friendly but the food was average to poor. The starter of squid was OK but my burger was very disappointing. The worst I've had in a long time. Classic dishes like this should be served well. It came with no cheese - when I hadn't requested this - and had to be returned to the kitchen. It was cold, dry and and overcooked. The bun was too big and dry. My wife's main course of Breton chicken was good but her starter of onion soup was loaded with cheese and pretty unpleasant. The restaurant was very loud. That's it for me, I shan't be returning.

As always, the Canterbury Cote delivered a perfect evening. The food is always full of flavour; the menu full of choice; and the staff full of first class service, Thank you for continuing to be there during such a challenging time.

Keep up the good work as it is important for us all to feel safe

Happened upon Cote in Canterbury, cannot recommend highly enough. Service is attentive without being overbearing. Food was excellent and good value, would definitively be back

We had a lovely meal today. We were welcomed warmly on arrival and were pleased to see that social isolation was being adhered to on all aeras of the restaurant. The menu offered plently of choice for all parts of the meal and we particularly appreciated that the focus was on figs this month so we very much enjoyed the fig cocktail . My husband was delighted with his main course of belly pork and I very much enjoyed the pork loin with figs. It was very useful that the waiter pointed out that this is served pink so that I was able to ask for well done as I prefer this. We had a creme caramel and a 'Noir et Blanc' for dessert, both of which were excellent. Our waiter was friendly, efficient and very helpful. An excellent way to brighten up the current gloomy afternoon. One thing we would like to mention is that, looking at the menu overall, we noticed that chilli is now being added to many dishes. My husband has an intolerance to this, as well as all peppers, paprika etc. and he mentioned that his choice has now become more restricted. This allergy is not well known but is quite common and we feel that offering this as an addition , rather than including it in the cooking might offer more choice for those people who have this response.

Myself, my mum & my brother enjoyed a lovely lunch at Cote today. We love Cote, the service and food is always fantastic - you just can’t go wrong. Thank you as always for everything, Lauren

With interesting and individual items on the menu, our meal at Cote reflected yet again a restaurant well worth visiting.

Perfectly placed table. The fig cocktail and fig salad excellent. We always feel Cote hits the right balance of nice dining and service with casual bistro style. We always talk to staff Abe everyone loves the support cote gives them on their job. I’m in the food industry and hearing this during these times is great. Our food was excellent.

Excellent lunch. Pleasant ambiance and good service. Rather economic on the bread though.

As usual great food with attentive staff. My wife had fish stew which she really enjoyed and my rib eye steak was succulent and cooked perfectly. We will certainly text here soon.

The evening was excellent from the initial warm greeting and our relationship with the server developed over the evening. The food was the usual high standard we have come to expect from Cote. We do hope the planned opening of the Henley Cote goes ahead. Have to mark down the atmosphere only because the restaurant only had about 4 tables.

Have already left a glowing review on Google maps ( I've over 3 million views with Google as a local guide) but would reiterate with you that we are always totally satisfied and pleased with our eating experience with your chain of restaurants. We really hope that you will be able to reopen your Maidstone restaurant as that is our home location.

Fantastic food and great service. We have eaten at Cote a few times now, consistently great every time.

Starter was excellent but we both had the pork belly which was not thatvgoid. The cabbage was not deviened so tough. Too many santanas so made it very sqeet. The pork itself had no crackling and totally without taste. The staff were excellent but i was disappointed overall which is shame as i use cote a lot but will think twice in future

The service and food were excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful and we felt relaxed and unhurried throughout our meal. Everyone was very professional and we felt safe knowing the staff were wearing masks and cleaning the tables and chairs as people came and went. I cannot fault our time spent there today and would recommend it to anyone looking for a decent place to eat.
